Great stay right on the Green Belt

This place was a great home base for our group, in town visiting extended family. We could walk to so many amenities. The heated pool and hot tub was wonderful, except for the days it was closed for maintenance.

GREAT location for families

This is our second time staying in the Golfview complex and we love it! A nice walk into Old Scottsdale, it's also close to the zoo, hiking and several good restaurants. The heated pool is a bonus in March!! Great communication with the management company and we always meet lovely neighbors there. Highly recommend!!

Could be a great place but it wasn't

I don't take a negative review lightly. However, we were very disappointed in this property. We've stayed in numerous VRBO's over time and this is our first big disappointment. It's too bad because the property could be great given some attention. The golf course view was wonderful and the primary bedroom, closet and bath was spacious and the bedding was nice. Counters had been updated and overall layout very good. But here are the negatives. - The listing said there was cable TV which there was not. My husband missed most of the NFL playoff games as a result. There wasn't even an antenna. (We were told by the local rep that they removed cable quite some time ago. Evolve Property management said they would delete it from the listing and refunded us for one night.) - Photos show TVs in both bedrooms. Read the fine print--the TVs are no longer there. - Primary bedroom carpet was badly stained. (Property management company said they will have it cleaned.) - A couple of storage areas should have been for guests but were filled with a jumble of "stuff." Under the primary bathroom sinks one is tidy and used for bathroom supplies, which is fine. Under the other sink is a mess of what appears to be owner's items, etc. One of the kitchen drawers just had a bunch of plastic grocery bags. Why? - There are vertical blinds in the living room and primary bedroom. Both had missing slats. - The pots and pans and flatware were tired, the dishes fine but dated. There were no dish towels. - The sofas have slipcovers on them which were fine, but there were small styrofoam tubes to hold them in place and they were useless--they popped out the minute you sat down. - Walls overall okay but various marks that should be cleaned off. - The screen door was in a permanent open position. (Impeded airflow.) - Contrary to listing, there is no garage parking, rather assigned parking in the row residents use. Not a particular problem, but again, listing was incorrect. On a positive side the rental rate was good and the apartment (note it's on the second floor) was well located.

Girls Trip to Scottsdale

Just a short drive to old town. So Uber/Lyft was cheap! Everything was clean and tidy. Beds are a bit stiff and not very comfortable. Able to hear the people above moving about and talking. The pool was great! Enjoyed watching people golf. Definitely not a bad place to stay. The 4 of us had a great time!
