This is a lovely little hotel with attentive staff and really thoughtful personal touches. There were snacks and drinks in the fridge and my 6-year old daughter was given a little teddy bear wearing a t-shirt with the name of the hotel! The room is small but very practical and there are some fabulous bakeries and patisseries in the Area. We will come back here next time we visit Paris.

Wonderful Stay

We liked how convenient this was to the train station and the Metro. The staff was absolutely wonderful. They kept our bags safe for us for a couple of hours after checkout. The apartment had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. To top it off, my husband unknowingly left his passport behind and they reached out to us and then held it in the safe for us until we could return a week later.

This beautiful apartment was so well-appointed and had all the Parisian charm we had hoped for. We were warmly welcomed by our hosts who provided great recommendations for spots in the neighborhood and tips for getting the most of our holiday. We loved the 2-bedroom sofa bed as we were travelling with our 2 teenagers. Could not recommend this rental highly enough, and we would happily come here again.

Customer service was excellent! Gaultier at the front desk was so kind, friendly and full of wonderful advice and ideas for our days. The bakeries around the hotel are sensational. Union Boulangerie Is a must visit! Rooms were modern and clean. Gift bag with reusable water bottles, filtered water dispenser, and free umbrella use was such a pleasant surprise. Great location close to metro. If I am ever in Pairs again will definitely stay here again!

Convenient location close to the subway station and supermarket. Lots of cafes and bakeries nearby. Kitchen was equipped with a nespresso machine and nespresso pods, which were a nice touch. We had breakfast in the room two days, which was very convenient with kids. We were given a water bottle after check in—very convenient for the water fountain in the hotel. Gautier was very friendly and provided us with information on how to get places in Paris. Room was a little tight, but for European standards it was still good. I would probably furnish it with more lightweight furniture, but certainly not a dealbreaker. Clean property. Would stay here again.

We stayed in the suite. It has two bedrooms with their own showers and a sofa. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel! Rooms are well maintained, staff is great, the associate at the front desk was super nice to talk to and he had so much information to share about where to go/eat, and it’s very close to 1-2 metro lines!

We had an excellent time during our stay. The property was spotless with nice views of the Eiffel Tower and the Pantheon. The only issue we ran into was that the hot water was a hit and miss which was inconvenient.

Great hotel, spacious room with a separate room with sleeper sofa for our two kids. Bathroom was tight, but not unusual for Europe. Great location, just a 5 minute walk to the subway. Front desk staff very friendly and welcoming. Gave us a welcome package that included water bottles, travel bag and stuffed teddy bears for our kids! They have limited hours they are there, but give you access codes to come and go as you please. Lots of shops, cafes and restaurants near by, including a local laundry mat that we utilized. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!

Le Matissia was a great find. The neighborhood is amazing with great bakery, restaurant options, etc a stone’s throw away. The Poissonnière metro stop is a 1 min walk, which takes you straight to Louvre and Pont Neuf. The reception was incredible with the host telling us all we needed to know and taking our bags up to the room as we dropped them early. There are great amenities like free juice, cookies, soda, etc. overall highly recommended. One issue was that the door to the bathroom was a bit broken and one person got stuck inside - we were able to get them out but would have been hard without someone in outside. We alerted reception but just be aware.
