Arriving at Hotel Dadou at 10 Rue Troyon felt instantly reassuring, as if I’d found a familiar sanctuary tucked within Paris’s grand avenues. From the cheerful greeting at the front desk to the inviting scent of fresh pastries in the lobby, everything signaled that this would be more than just another hotel stay—it would be my home away from home. My room was a delight: cozy yet thoughtfully designed, with elegant touches and a bed so comfortable it made the bustle of the city outside melt away the moment I closed the door. There were playful details, too—a hint of vintage Paris in the décor and clever mood lighting that made every evening feel special. Unwinding here became a ritual, whether with a glass of wine in the softly lit salon or a few quiet moments watching life go by from the window. A place to keep and return often.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE: I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend this hotel, despite the excellent location just minutes from the Arc de Triomphe and many restaurants. MAIN ISSUES: Customer Service: Poor service from certain staff, including rude front desk behavior (young girl working days on Sept 1st & 2nd) and housekeeping repeatedly failing to provide washcloths or water. I was even asked to come downstairs and retrieve washcloths myself when calling downstairs requesting them. Billing Error: Two bags were wrongly charged to my tab. Spa: The spa was broken for the entire stay, a major disappointment as it was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. Room Size: I booked the second largest room with a balcony, but it was cramped even for two people. This would not be ideal for couples or larger individuals. POSITIVES: One night staff member was outstanding (night shift, brown skin, glasses). He was kind, helpful, and went out of his way to bring washcloths one of the several nights none were left (he was the only staff member to do so). Great breakfast and friendly kitchen staff. Prime location, close to major attractions and public transport. FINAL VERDICT: Location is fantastic, but the service and facilities fell short. There are better hotel options nearby.

My daughter and I loved staying at this hotel. Breakfast options were terrific and fresh. Location was just a few minutes walk from Arc de Triomphe, the Metro station, and plenty of restaurants and shops. Staff was beefy friendly and helpful. The property is in a safe,beautiful location, which was near restaurants,public transportation, and many walkable tourist attractions. The staff(Geoffrey/Paul as well as the young ladies) were very helpful with directions as well as dinner suggestions. Our room was lovely and it exceeded our expectations. It was very large ,more like a suite we had 2 full bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. I traveled with my teenage daughter and a family member, and it was nice to have the additional bathroom. We felt very safe walking the area at night. The hotel also provided a complimentary mid afternoon dessert/fruit and delicious non-alcoholic beverages which were all home made(the cake was still warm)! The spa was very nice and you’re able to connect Netflix. We would definitely stay there again!
