This place needs major updating work. Staff are kind and helpful, but the room was cramped, gloomy, noisy and had a bathroom which was very downmarket.

This hotel is within quick walking distance to the Metro and near the terrific walking boulevard to enjoy the best of being in Paris. The room itself is pretty basic (no wall hangings) and the usual Parisian small, but we were comfortable. We were able to use the elevator. The staff family were very friendly and attentive to our questions and needs and great to get to know. They will collect your room key when you go out each time and return it when you get back. While we were there, there was a movie being filmed right outside and we had to go around at times to not disturb the footage.

The pictures were very deceiving, it made the room seem larger. There was almost no floor space on the first level with the 2 single beds taking up the space. The spiral stairs to the second level were damaged and unsafe. The loft ceiling was only 5 ft high except in the far corner. There was also no airconditioning, there were a few fans, but not enough plugs to operate them. We only stayed one night and then found somewhere else to stay despite the stay being non refundable

C’était la 2Ăšme fois que nous dormions Ă  cet hĂŽtel. Il est vrai qu’il est dans son jus ,vieillot et mĂ©riterait un sacrĂ© rafraĂźchissement,nĂ©anmoins l’hĂŽtel est extrĂȘmement bien situĂ© (bon quartier,trĂšs proche du mĂ©tro et bus). Les propriĂ©taires sont extrĂȘmement gentils et serviables. Alors si comme nous vous recherchez juste une chambre hyper bien situĂ©e uniquement pour dormir dans Paris vous pouvez y aller sans problĂšme ,au contraire si vous recherchez du confort,du modernisme et un service adĂ©quat passez votre chemin. On a parfaitement bien dormi la fenĂȘtre ouverte (pas de climatisation Ă©videmment),le quartier est plutĂŽt calme et l’hĂŽtel aussi. Pas de salle de petit dĂ©jeuner sur place. Si vous voulez un cafĂ© il y a une cafetiĂšre Ă  la rĂ©ception , sinon des cafĂ©s sur le boulevard. Bref un hĂŽtel sans chichi mais qui fait le job!
