The staff was super helpful! We can’t speak French unfortunately, but we could always communicate with someone at the front desk. It was very walkable and quiet. Small room by American standards for sure but very adequate. For further points of interest, we took transportation one way and walked back. Lovely stay ☺️

Top notch service, clean, stylish, great location, wonderful restaurant. Our room was very, very small. Opening a medium sized spinner would have taken up the only open floor space in the room . That is the only drawback. We tried to upgrade but nothing was available.

We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel des Grands Voyageurs on Rue La Vaugirard, Paris. The location was excellent and very convenient, being close to the metro, various restaurants, and within walking distance of the River Seine. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable, and kept very clean, featuring a king-sized bed, which is quite rare in Paris. The staff were truly wonderful, especially Louise and Marion, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We highly recommend this hotel and would be delighted to stay there again in the future!

We really enjoyed our stay at Des Grands Voyageurs! Attentive staff, and an especially welcoming bellhop, who we enjoyed seeing each day. The room had a lot of great touches, like small minibar included and refilled (with snacks, Coke products, beers), a little welcome gift, etc. They offered refillable water bottles, which was a little odd (3 euros to replace them or get a new one), but it was nice they'd fill your water bottles. The location is wonderful - just a block off the Sainte-Placide Metro and walkable to the Jardin du Luxembourg, shopping, restaurants, etc. We love this area, as it's somewhat more residential but still very close to our favorite attractions. Bed was comfortable and the rooms were well-appointed. Breakfast was also good. Would have been nice to have eggs and coffee to order, as the coffee machine coffee in particular wasn't great, but overall very nice, especially for a 4-star property. Also nice that there was a fitness center. Would have liked to see some smaller weights than 11lbs, but other than that, it was sufficent for travel workouts. The restaurant and bar area are beautiful, but we were disappointed to see that the bar was dead every night. No guests or outside patrons. We really love a lively bar at a hotel and this bar has a lot of potential. Overall, we had a great stay. The value of the room rate was good for the quality (i.e. it was not inexpensive at all, but not overpriced). We would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Staff were awesome; Marco, Renchen, Irene, Rasa, and everyone else helped us enjoy our stay. Restaurant has an awesome burger and sea bass filet. Room was large and bed very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.
