The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and breakfast buffet was great. The hotel was in a great location and within walking distance to the market. My only disappointment was with the pool and gym. The pool was small and the gym wasn’t well equipped.

Great room. Top of the line bathroom amenities. Soft beds. Only downfall was room was very warm. Sat at 73 degrees F (even though the thermostat was set at 70F. No way to turn it down and no window to crack open.

The rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained with hair dryer, iron & ironing board, and functioning tv. The pool is small but the kids enjoyed using it nightly. The breakfast was delicious but seating is limited. The staff were approachable and helpful. Con- it is located directly across the street from several community outreach centers where open drug use was abundant making it uncomfortable to walk to the byward market and downtown with children. Please be careful! Parking is limited. We were lucky to aware on Friday evening because people were told that parking was sold out on Saturday leaving them to find parking offsite.

This hotel is a quick drive away from the Byward Market and the National Gallery, etc. While we opted not to walk due to the winter weather, I believe it would be easily doable in the summer. The room was clean and well-appointed, and I appreciated the Dove products provided. The friendly staff, especially the breakfast ladies, made our stay enjoyable. The breakfast offered a variety of hot and cold options. There were a few drawbacks. The hotel is located on a busy road, and it could be noisy at times. Additionally, the entrance/exit to the parking lot had tight corners which made manoeuvring in and out challenging. All in all, we had a pleasant stay and would opt for this hotel again.
