Property was nice, enjoyed jetted tub in living room. However, the bed was too hard, the toilet seat was too small, and the unit needs soundproofing. We could hear people walking in the unit above and voices from units on the same floor.

The reviews were correct.

The reviews did mention that the room was not clean. They were correct. Although the outside looked clean and kept, the inside did not. We were disappointed in the uncleanliness of the rooms. The bathroom had mold around the grab bars, the glassware was dirty, etc. I’m sure back in the day this was clean and well kept.

Will rent again

My complaints are minor and we will probably try and stay here again. Room was warmer then we are used to, too much light comes in the bedroom with the fancy blinds, and the combo lock was a a pain. The good was it had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable.

Amazing getaway!

We were blown away with the beauty and presentation of the suite! Romantic is an understatement. The pictures of the listing do not do it justice! This place was a dream come true to take my wonderful girlfriend for her birthday. Would recommend to anyone coming to Ocean Shores for the beach and shopping the cute stores within walking distance. Awesome trip with an awesome place to stay!

Love the location and seeing deer iff the balcony. The decor is hard 80s. The mirror in the bedroom was leaning against the wall because a foot was broken in it, the bed sheets were dirty as was the bathroom mirror. Appreciated tge Washer/dryer

Nice older unit.

Clean older decorated unit. Close to the beach and nice jacuzzi in the room. Easy check in and out. Full kitchen with dishes and appliances and washer and dryer. The only thing would be there were no trash bags left in any garbage cans.

Beautiful property, listing is spot on. Very clean and spacious! Many amenities, large refriegerator, dishwasher, kitchen small appliances and gadgets. Easy access to get into the until by ourselves at check in. Fireplace was wonderful as the temperature was rather chilly and windy during our stay outside. Comfortable back patio, one could hear the ocean & if standing on your toes the ocean. Large bed. Decor could use to be updated. Room darkening curtains over the blinds would be nice as the entire unit was quite lit up throughout the night. The tv was crystal clear, DVD in the room, we didn't use since the selection of DVDs was very poor and adult genre, rated R. An extra touch was hand sanitizer and pump soap at the sinks. There were kites to use and plenty of linen as well as a washer and dryer (we didn't use it to see if it worked though). Ample parking. A suggestion would be to provide a lanyard in the unit so the guest could put the key on it while utilizing it. Also, to update the guest book and rules of the property book. Thankful it was clean within the unit! We didn't use the hot tub, kind of an odd area to have it and we were pretty chilly during our stay due to the weather Ocean Shores had during our visit. Thank you!

Good location, spacious room but had some cleaning issue

Last minute booking. This hotel is a nice location. No view but beach is just a quick walk away. Room is very big, kitchen is full of supplies to cook any meal, jetted tub is nice. The room I had was on the first floor, I can hear footsteps/water flushes from room above. The room wasn’t as clean as I thought it should be. Dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. Bathroom really needs a deep clean, behind the toilet seat and corners. Make me wonder if they clean the room throughly. This is really a concern especially with COVID. For the price, I expected the room in better condition. Overall, an ok stay but I won’t come here away.

Tub is incredible

I specifically booked this getaway for the hot tub and it didn’t disappoint. Unfortunately there were some issues with cleanliness when I arrived which got the trip off to a negative start. Management was responsive, apologetic, and refunded the cleaning fee. I’m certain in non-pandemic times they would have sent housekeeping over immediately to remedy the issues. Though my trip had a rocky start, I did enjoy my stay and loved the tub.

We liked this facility so much, that I am leaving the review before we even leave. It's large, well layed out with great amenities. The kitchen had everything we need to make breakfast, lunch, and steak dinners. The jacuzzi tub was great and tv had plenty of Christmas movie offerings for our pre holiday get away. Great time, clean unit and felt underpriced :)

Comfortable getaway

We had a lovely weekend at the beach! Our condo was perfectly equipped for our needs. Perhaps a reading light in the bedroom would have been nice, but we otherwise had everything we needed. The tub in the living room was extremely relaxing and we felt private and secure.

It took forever to get the cable situated we had to reboot, the back door lock was broke, and there wasn’t beach access the the building. In the pictures it is misleading that you can get to the ocean. The jet tub was nice but I thought it would be better. I did like the Bose sound system.

Beautiful place as homebase

We loved our full kitchen and the comfortable living space as our homebase During our stay at Ocean Stores. Few concerns about the unit: The freezer needs a new seal as there were layers of ice inside the food basket, when we arrived. The door locking mechanism on the patio door was problematic. Very difficult to open and unlock, as well. The hot water faucet in the bathroom sink needs to be replaced; seems like the threads are stripped. Noise From children’s footsteps was a problem from the unit above us until 11:00 at night. No manager on site to complain to.
