We will never be staying here again. Although it’s in close proximity to the waterpark and Clifton Hill, it’s a cheap option compared to the Brock and Sheraton for a reason. This hotel is very much dated, slow service and seems to be in need of a complete overhaul. Our door lock to our room didn’t work and we did get speedy service for that, although it took half hour to get it fixed and we were waiting to take two hungry kids to dinner. While that was being fixed, the staff member got two other calls for A/C not working on a 35+ degree day. The walls in this hotel are paper thin. Our family barely slept a wink as our neighbours spent the night screaming at each other and had a poor crying child they couldn’t seem to console. Doors slamming, banging walls and yelling doesn’t make for a peaceful sleep. Spend the extra money and stay at a better hotel.

I wasn’t very happy with the parking situation. I was circling around to find parking as the front desk never informed us that the over flow parking was across the street in the parking garage. I sent my son in to ask and they just told him across the street so we parked in the lot directly across and had to pay again. When I went in and spoke to the front desk, the lady was very rude and just said that their signage out in front of the hotel. I informed her that it was dark out now and I could not see the signage and just said maybe going forward they should inform People when they check in about the parking and also let them know. It’s the garage and not the lot and when I informed her that I did have to pay again she said she wouldn’t charge me for that night at the hotel, which was Friday night the 6th but in fact, she charged me double so I originally paid when I checked in $85 and then I was also charged another $20. I will not be recommending this hotel to family and friends. We had a baseball team that was staying there and we were sitting in a courtyard waiting for our boys to come back and security demanded us to leave the courtyards because they were closed at 10 when there was four mothers sitting chatting very quietly amongst ourselves, waiting for our boys to come in where other families were running around yelling screaming, slamming doors and we were the ones that asked to leave. Your staff needs to work on their hospitality.

It was okay. Stars were taken off due to the air conditioning in our room not working, the shower drain not draining properly, running out of hand soap immediately, and the telephone not working. The room was clean for the most part. Majority of the staff were nice and attentive. Overall it was an okay stay for one evening.

It was nice having the waterpark so close to the hotel. Also, that they offered movie nights in the courtyard. Very close to Clifton Hill and all the amenities. I feel that the hotel was very outdated and in need of repair. The wallpaper was falling off, lamps were very worn and falling apart, our towel rack fell off during our visit and the beds are very uncomfortable. You could hear the guests upstairs walking around and also loud banging from the guests beside. Not very sound proof. Also, not enough plugs in the room. None to charge your phone on the nightstand during the night. Only 2 plugs were by the coffee maker.

If you’re thinking to book here, do it ! This hotel is amazing & even better for families! Apart from the water park they play children movies in one of their courtyards. The lay out is beautiful. There are vending machines as well. The rooms are very clean & provide a lot of towels. Soap is always full as well. Clifton hill is walking distance, not even 5 minutes. Parking is a bit pricey but better than a lot of other hotels. I would definitely stay here again
