Magical Evening

I had an unforgettable stay at the Oakes Hotel in Niagara Falls, especially given the snowy weather during Family Day weekend. The check-in staff were fantastic, setting the tone for a great stay. When I first arrived at my room, the layout was a little unusual, but it made for a fun story to share. At first, the windows were frozen over, so I couldn't enjoy the iconic view of the falls, which was a bit of a letdown. However, after exploring the area for a few hours, I returned to the most magical sight—the falls in all their glory, visible through my windows! The experience was truly special, and I’ll always cherish the memories. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and I can’t wait to return someday.

The property requires renovation, and there are no condiments available, so you might want to bring your own food and drinks. A microwave is located on the ground floor, and complimentary coffee is also available there. The staff is very helpful, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. We would consider staying again for a day or two.

Plumbing is really old. The whole trip we stayed, our sing was clogged it was really bad. Staff was nice but the facility needs to be updated. Pillows are really poor quality.
