Disappointed we were unable to stay at Oakes Hotel. They were have water issues so they set us up at the Hilton. Which was confusing because we were charged for parking charges each night on anboff property 3+ blocks away and other extra charges.

We were so pleased our room looked exactly as pictured! The view was breathtaking. Loved the table and 2 chairs in front of the big window. The staff were friendly and efficient. Our new fave spot on the Canadian side of the Falls!

It was my birthday trip and we wanted a romantic getaway. We paid extra for the room with a big jacuzzi. The picture clearly shows a two person jacuzzi with a heart/swan towel arrangement. The room looked updated and pretty. When we got there I was so disappointed. The room did not look like the pictures. The tub was a single person tub with some jets. It looked like it hadn’t been updated since 2002. The carpet was so ugly. The vanity had two different wood veneers like part of it was shoddily replaced. The furniture looked like it was just kind of placed randomly in the room and it didn’t feel cozy or at all worth what we paid. I would not book here again. Especially for the price it would be nice to at least get a continental breakfast and the two person jacuzzi that was in the pictures. It kind of put a damper on the trip. We thought it was going to be a nice romantic fancy getaway like the pictures, and it felt like a budget hotel or someone’s grandma’s yard sale basement. Disappointing.

Staff was very nice while checking in, especially Muhamond. Room was clean. Our floor was quiet. Perfect view of the falls.

Cannot rate the property, since at their choice we were moved to another hotel. Once again, "plumbing repairs" being the issue. Ended up staying in a hotel no one in my party was happy with, and although only a slight distance away from the one we chose, still further than we were happy with. Very sketchy that while our booking was moved, the Oakes was still accepting bookings for the rooms we reserved.

Clean room, Staff they are very accommodating. The POOL area it should have a ventilation, the chlorine is suffocating and the Hilton Hotel should fix this as soon as possible. But overall still highly recommended.
