Older hotel but right on the beach and all rooms face the ocean with balcony. Smoked salmon chowder every night with warm cookies provided by hotel staff. Warmed pool & jacuzzi. Walking distance to downtown and shopping. What more can you ask for. As an older widow I felt very secure with locked entrances and staff are all friendly and very helpful. My go to stay in Newport.

Great location directly on the beach. All rooms face the ocean. The staff was friendly and they even put out a big pot of smoked salmon chowder for the guests on the night I arrived. Free. Followed by freshly baked cookies. I enjoyed the sunset and moon over the water.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. We had two kids (17/11) and the king beds were great for everyone to spread out on. The view from our balcony was perfection and the fireplace was a nice place to warm up after a day on the beach. The pool was clean and the kids enjoyed swimming. Staff was beyond friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was that the breakfast was not what we expected. It is a grab and go situation as opposed to waffle maker/scrambled eggs/sausage, etc you would expect with a complimentary hotel breakfast. We made it work though and we would definitely stay here again!
