I would say this is a great property to stay in. The room was great with a great view of the ocean. My only worry was about my own kids making to much noises for been just kids, overwise everything else was spectacular.

This was our first visit to Newport and the Hallmark Resort was truly amazing! The room was spacious with a fantastic view. The parking was convenient. The staff was fantastic. The beach and access to it was awesome! The resort restaurant, Georgie's, was wonderful and so was their room service. We will definitely stay at the Hallmark Resort again!

We loved the views from our room, however the King size bed seemed small for a king. The room was very clean, frig was not very cold and there was no control knob to adjust. "No Breakfast" for over $200++ per night, seems like they should offer something.

New re-model rooms were very pleasant and modern - same bathtub but the fixtures in both the bath and sink were a cut above the standard issue and worked well. The new sink area had a convenient shelf under the sink to stash toiletries, towels were fluffy (they are new), bed was firm and comfortable but the pillows were some combination of shredded foam and were terrible (soft lumpy uncomfortable) the lighted mirror above the sink was outstanding...but there was only one small wastebasket and no recycle bin...room could use a dresser or chest of drawers to store clothes for stays of two or more days. Good soundproofing - couldn't hear neighbors either above or below us. Staff was helpful and willing to correct any issues....they improved our slow wifi connection immediately! Can't beat the view.....all beach and waves.
