What I liked most about the hotel, is the location. Right around the corner from Times Square. What I dislike… there was no ice machine, no vending machines! The staff was courteous and acknowledged us as guess every time when coming and going. It’s New York, so traffic is packed and can be very noisy. Parking is very limited in this area. But hey, IT’S NEW YORK… what you expect! We enjoyed ourselves

WARNING: If you are JEWISH, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!! My experience at this hotel was deeply troubling. Not only are the conditions unacceptable, but I also encountered behavior from staff that I found offensive and discriminatory. During a conversation with a female front desk manager about ongoing issues with the WiFi—which was consistently unavailable throughout my multi-week stay—I was subjected to an antisemitic remark. That alone is completely unacceptable. Beyond that incident, the hotel fails to meet even basic expectations. Despite charging an additional $100 per night at check-in as a so-called “facilities fee,” there are essentially no amenities. There is no restaurant, no gym, no ice machines, and, as mentioned, no reliable WiFi. They also have you donating money of your stay to a charity that I knew nothing about. The physical condition of the rooms is equally concerning: showers lack proper doors, locks on room doors do not function correctly, and key cards frequently stop working, forcing repeated trips to the front desk. Service at the front desk was consistently dismissive and unhelpful. When I informed the manager that I intended to escalate the issue to her supervisor, I was subsequently removed from the property through Travelocity rather than having my concerns addressed. Overall, this was an extremely negative experience, both in terms of the accommodations and the treatment I received.

The first thing that happened was we were assigned to a room that was already occupied. That should have been our clue! This is a very dated hotel, our toilet was stopped up, the shower handle literally fell off while I was showering. I had to leave it running, go downstairs and lodge my complaint with wet hair. Another complaint the blow dryer did not work. The room does not have a working phone so each time I needed assistance I had to walk downstairs. The room did not have working plugs close to the bed. It was also very noisy. The staff was good to get things fixed, (toilet and shower) definitely a plus. It is very close to Times Square- another plus.

At first glance the hotel seems fine. I expected a bit run down due to other rreviews and the preice. I did not expect gaping holes in the wall and exposed outlets and what i can only assume is black mold around the air conditioning unit. The paper thin walls and windows that allowed sound to carry clearly from the street 8 stories below didnt quite help the experience either.

Overall very good experience. Room was clean and very spacious. Finishes and furniture were a bit worn. Housekeeping staff was great. Elevators were smooth and never crowded like other hotelsin the vicinity. $40/night resort fee charged on site that I was not expecting. It was above and beyond total expedia cost.

Don’t stay here. The room was terrifying — both locks on the door did not work, the door was dented that you can see the hallway and into the room. And the walls were so badly painted it was terrible. The room overall was not at ALLL how it was pictured. Don’t stay here. I did not even get a refund because THEY WILL NOT ANSWER THE PHONE. Expedia cannot even get ahold of them. Don’t stay here. Save your money. I’d give it 0 stars if it let me.
This is what the wall looked like.
