Summer Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 2nd year in this home. We love love love the location, pool, and being close to inlet with boat ramp for kayaking and beach access across street. Inside home is nice and enough room for all. Furniture in main living area and kitchen is a bit cluncky and so makes it crowded but we moved things around (moving back to where they belonged when we left) and all was good.

Another fun stay at Tide Tonic

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is well maintained and was clean on arrival. This is a great house in a good location! I'd recommend this house as a great place to enjoy the views it provides of the marsh and ocean and its access to the beach and the Inlet! We've been staying here about 7 years. During our stay we noticed water running down the driveway from the outdoor shower, a toilet not flushing correctly and the elevator broke over the weekend. I called mnt on Monday and within the hour they were there to fix the leak in the shower pipe and toilet handle. Bc we had a disabled family member, the elevator was critical which I conveyed to mnt and they had someone there within a couple of hours to fix it. The outdoor shower and toilet handle (with fiddling) still worked but we were concerned about the expense of water to the homeowner. It did not impact our use of these items. Only complaint I would have is that the pool water was greenish all week and by Thursday the bottom of the pool was covered in algae/brown spots. I called Thursday but it didn't get fixed which was a disappointment bc we enjoy the pool time after a day at the beach. Overall, we had lots and fun and enjoyed our stay!

Tide Tonic Summer Vacay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been to Tidetonic at least 5 times now, and though we Love the layout, the amount of rooms and bathrooms, the location being by the Inlet. This year we noticed the place needs some renovating. Furniture is old, kitchen cabinets falling apart, and just a plethora of other things. Also the lace was not thoroughly cleaned when we got there. Sand all over floors, dead bird in pool, and tubs not scrubbed. It didn’t stop us from enjoying our time. We did also have an incident the elevator didn’t work when we got there and had to wait two days. This year that was possible, to deal with due to Covid stopping cousin who is handicapped from coming, but if she had come as she usually does that would have been a nightmare. Last year it wasn’t working when we got there also, but that only took several hours. Should make sure everything works before new guests arrive. Lastly, building a home next door do every day for. 7am to 5pm we heard ALL the construction noise. That made it hard to enjoy the pool at times. We do love Tidetonic, just disappointed in the lack of care for it.

It was large enough to accommodate our family and we absolutely loved the dock and being able to see the water from both sides of the house. The beach was a close, short walk. Wish the pool was not salt water! Overall, a great time!

Awesome Home with Nice Amenities!

Everyone had their own bedroom/ bathroom and could have accommodated a couple more people if it were needed. The pool was a nice plus especially in The heat/humidity of a SC summer. The view of the beach across the street was nice but being on the inlet and having that view was stunning in the evenings. Great cross breezes under the house . A lot of time spent outside reading, swimming and tanning. Great parking at this home as well ! The only downside to this home was not allowing pets. Also the dryer wasn’t heavy duty enough to dry our beach towels . This is truly an awesome home and we would think about renting it again in the future

We did have a few issues with the house that need looking into. We booked the house again next year and this will be four years straight. Master shower door is hard to close. Back sliding glass door to deck kitchen level fell off and I put it back together but one screw is missing. Deck in two spots the boards are rotted. Need Replacment. Found some ants in the kitchen around the kitchen window by sink. Gardens cut the grass around the pool while we were in the pool. Not safe. Flying objects. AC was hard to control the temps. Got very cold and than very hot at times. Maybe instructions at controls would help. We love the house and look forward to staying in 2023.

Greatest Vacation ever

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was near perfect with a few exceptions which were discussed with John, the maintenance guy who was excellent. Very impressed with Garden City Realty staff and what appeared to be new sign in /registration process. So impressed that I asked to see the manager and told her how grateful I was for an early check in (never happened before), check in took about 5 minutes vs 15 or more previously and no waiting in line (was about 15 to 30 minutes previously). I have rented from Garden City Realty and its predecessor CondoTels for over 30 years and have experiences ranging from good to excellent and with units being perfect to those with A/c broke, alarms which constantly went off, windows which were all locked, major plumbing problems, etc. Garden City has done a good job addressing the issues. I will continue to rent from them.

This property was one of the best we've stayed in. Three choices; The Beach, The Inlet, or just relax By The pool!!! We took two boats down (a center consol and a Jon boat). We rode around in the inlet when we wanted to. We fished when we wanted to. Caught some beautiful flounder! This property is UNBELIEVABLE!! Our family LOVED THE SPACE. The floor plan takes some getting used to but once you learn where everything is, you'll love it! THE BEST LOACATION FOR JULY 4TH FIREWORKS!! THE BEST SUNSETS ON THE BEACH! Hopefully, we can get THIS PROPERTY again! Plenty of parking! Private boat ramp!! What more could you ask for!! Thanks again for another GREAT SUMMER VACATION!!

Kitchen was well stocked. Dock was extra long. Private ramp was a bonus. Plenty of room in the house. Ice machine came in handy. Overall was very satisfied. Garden City Realty was helpful with one problem we had.

Great Week on the Creek!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is beautiful, well laid our for our family, and has a well stocked kitchen. Beach access is just across the street and of course you have the creek in the back with a great dock for our boat and jet skis. Parking is ample enough for several cars, our boat trailer, a golf cart trailer and a jet ski trailer. Views of the ocean and the marsh from the porches. The pool is right next to the creek which was great. A pool net would have been helpful after the landscape folks came. Their blowers were not strong enough the offset the brisk breeze coming from creekside LOL so the pool got a bit grassy. Also, the description mentioned a 1⁄2 bath downstairs for pool use but it was not available. Would have been helpful but certainly did not ruin our visit. We have been coming to Garden City for over 50 years and this was by far the best house for a large crowd that we have stayed in because each bedroom had its own bath, there was an elevator that we could ferry stuff upstairs and for our elderly guest to use, living areas were spacious and the seating was comfortable. Plenty of dining space as well. All in all a great house in the perfect location! Many new beach memories were made that week.

FANTASTIC Outdoor Oasis!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house fit our group of 15 perfectly. The kitchen/dining area is SUPER tight - but we made it work. The outdoor area cannot be beat. The pool is amazing and right on the inlet. Bags, LadderBall, Bimini game, FANTASTIC outdoor furniture and a bathroom out by the pool area - absolutely the best part of this property! Beach access (TWO of them) right across the street. Would recommend to anyone!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is wonderful. Great location and in good condition. Love the pool and easy beach access. Views of marsh and ocean from upper deck. So relaxing to sit out there. Fairly well stocked but a few larger pots would be nice since it sleeps 16. Rental staff was courteous and friendly. However, I did not like the late check in time. We have small children and not being able to get in until after 6pm made it difficult to unpack and get them in bed at a decent time and frankly cut into some of our relaxation time. Also would recommend that since this home has a keypad entrance that it would be much more efficient to email me the key code and any paperwork for signature early on the day of check-in. Not to mention that the realty office is at a dangerous location for getting in and out at that time of day. Overall a great place to spend a week with friends and family!

Great view of the oceanside and the marsh making sitting on the deck in the mornings such a pleasure! Docks, boat ramp and pool provide other options for entertainment to the beach experience. They are building a house next door this year which made for more noise than usual but that is understandable and did not spoil our fun!

Worked very well for our Family of 13

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Enjoyed marsh view, the wild birds, the small fish jumping. Kayaking in the marsh every day. No grill provided, but I brought a portable and cooked behind the home daily. We grilled tenderloin, fish, hot dogs and burgers. Elevator worked well for moving in the heavy stuff. The electric kitchen range is a junk, but works, The kitchen exhaust fan did nothing for smoke (another reason for grilling outside) First floor porches on rear of home are covered by second floor and have hammock and comfortable chairs for sitting at end of day to watch sunset with a drink in hand. Plenty of seating for adults ha big table and grandkids on the windowed porch. Lots of parking for six cars (we had 5) so everyone can come and go without moving cars. Easy beach access just across the street.We pretty much kept to ourselves and socially distanced from the outside. Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House location is the best we have had so far. This is our 3rd time to this home and though we love it, there are several updates within the home that should/could be made.

This was our first try with an inlet side home and we thoroughly enjoyed this charming home and its amenities. We'll be renting this again in 2019!
