Absolutely amazing. This was our 2nd time staying here and it was just as amazing as the first time, the only difference was the trees have grown sobyou can no longer see the mountains from the deck, but it really didnt matter we were there for peace and thats exactly what we got. Tyvm

Beautiful house

The house was beautiful and very clean !! We had a great time. My boys loved the pool table. The only thing i wish they had was the option for a baby gate on the stairs but thats just me.. i am extremely happy with the cabin and loved seeing my 3 kids having so much fun

As Good As It Looks!

Check in was super easy and the house is laid out just like you see it in the listing. Weather was a little too cold for the outside fireplace but the hot tub runs great- stayed 102 degrees with the outdoor temp staying at a balmy 28. House is very comfortable, stays warm inside at night, and the beds/linens are all very comfortable. We cooked at the house and theres plenty of utensils so that you’re not trying to flip a steak with a Chik Fil-A fork from your globebox! My only real critique is that the family room tv screen is on its last leg and due for replacement. Not that watching tv will be a mainstay of the trip but the nightlife in Blue Ridge isn’t much to speak of so its likely you’ll be catching a game or watching Netflix at night. The TV’s in the down bed and the basement look newer but we didn’t try them. That said, nothing that would keep our stay from being 5/5. Would definitely book again.

Perfect for a stay-in-cation

My husband and I very rarely get to go on vacation. We typically like to rent a place that has it all so we can stay in. While we did venture out twice, this property was perfect for us! We did have a family couple join us for 2 days at the end of the trip. There is plenty of room. The master loft retreat was amazing. It is very cozy throughout. You will love the outdoor fireplace! If I had to give any cautions it is that the living/kitchen/dining area is smaller than it appears in the photos but functional and worked perfect for us. The hot tub works fine and is enjoyable but no working lights and there were 2 jets not working at all and even though there was a higher setting, the jets aren’t that strong. A few of the frying pans are warped and should be replaced but again still usable. Overall we loved it and would stay again in a heartbeat!

July 4th get away

We enjoyed this beautiful cabin very much. We enjoyed the porch. It’s was great for morning coffee, afternoon card games with lots of good rockers to sit and enjoy the view. We enjoyed the outdoor fire place and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out inside the house also. The TV’s and internet worked great. The pool table was good but they could use a couple more pool cues. The hot tub worked perfectly and the house was very clean and pleasantly decorated. There are no hair dryers and no spices, aluminum foil, etc. in the kitchen so be sure to bring your own. We would stay here again and the staff was very responsive. I recommend Alley’s Hideaway!
