Caring for the guest! Excellent!!!

The stay was great! No issues. Had my Dog with me. Excellent hotel for our furry friends. What I seen to be the highlight was the gym area. It was dedicated to 1 floor which had windows all around it. You could see pretty much the entire city!! Beautiful!!! Very spacious and not intimating. I would definitely stay here again. Also, had a great sleep, comfortable beds!

Well worth the price! Very clean and stylish new hotel. The staff were super helpful and polite. Great amenities and location - easy to ride the train out of nearby Bonaventure station to get where ever you need to go.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Moxy. We had read other reviews complaining about AC but ours worked perfectly fine, especially given the heat wave! The hotel is very new so all the rooms and spaces are immaculate. I love the fun vibe and decor. Check in took a while. They could use another person during busy hours. That said, everyone was very friendly and helpful. Also I used the EV charger and it worked perfectly. An overnight charge got me to 100% for my next day drive to Ontario for only $10. Super convenient!

Cool city stay

The property is located very close to the train station and between the urban downtown & Old Town / waterfront, so we were pleased with the walkability. It's a brand new hotel so is in brand new condition but there were a few things that might put people off. 1) The neighborhood is under construction and the hotel has construction above it. There was construction noise. 2) It is stand alone. You are walking several hundred metre to anything. The neighborhood felt safe though. 3) They need to figure out staffing. The restaurant was understaffed and so was the front desk. The staff we interacted with were nice but clearly very green. 4) The Moxy hotels do not have closets or basic amenities in room. No coffee. No bath tub. There is a cupboard with irons, kettles, ice , extra towels on each floor. That being said, the hotel is very funky and was ideal for us as we had teenagers who loved the pool, hot tub and common room. I would stay again, but wanted to leave a clear review of the hotel as it isn't for everyone!

We loved our stay at the Moxy Large room comfortable beds large bathroom with good quality toiletries. Extra towels kettle ice bucket pool towels available in stash room. Enjoyed the pool and sauna. Great bar with a complimentary cocktail once during our stay. Walkable to old Montreal and Catherine street etc. Will stay again.

This is a really new building. Patrons should realize that this is a different concept compared to other hotels. Staff are casual in their dress, interactions and overall demeanour. The one staff member in blazer approached me from the door with, “yo, I’m not gunna lie… you look really tired”… I’m a pretty chill person and I likely indeed looked tired but certainly this is not the vibe at most hotels with this price tag. Staff seemed to need a bit of coaching in behaviours that impact client return rather than in the moment pleasantries. If you need towels you will need to advocate for yourself. Staff are friendly and willing but the model relies on your effort. The restaurant seems ghostly hopefully in time it picks up. They offered a tasty welcome drink upon arrival and I felt that was very nice. The location is perfectly situated away from chaos and everything awesome is a walkable distance. This location lacks some frills that we are accustomed to (i.e., room service) but is the perfect spot for lowkey lodging to get out and about daily with easy. Easy reception for food delivery if need (i.e., Uber Eats…InstaCart). Overall for my needs I would return. * pls furnish rooms with alarm clocks.

I recently stayed at The Moxy, a newly built hotel that truly impressed me with its chic design and upscale amenities. The layout is modern and stylish, creating a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere from the moment you walk in. One of the highlights for me was the gym and pool located on the 12th floor. Not only are these facilities well equipped and maintained, but they also offer stunning panoramic views of downtown, making workouts and relaxation even more enjoyable. The staff at The Moxy were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always ready to assist with a smile, which made the experience even more pleasant. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would definitely return. Love this place.

Very friendly staff. Extremely clean and very quiet. Comfortable all around. There is a room where you can pick up an extra pillow, blanket, towel, washcloth, toothpaste, razor, lotion, iron and ironing board. Room was perfect and shower was amazing. We were able to get late night dinner at 10p which was outstanding.
