The room was nice but it was on the small side considering the cost. The bathroom was very small and you couldn't open the shower door if someone was standing in front of the sink. We could not find the switch for the bathroom fan and so the bathroom smelled funny when we first entered the room. There was also a strange small when we entered the room that was distinct from the hallway. I think it must have been the cleaning staff using air freshener to mask an odor.. the bed was comfortable and the view was great. We went to the nacarat bar and had a nice evening there. Overall it was an enjoyable experience.

We really enjoyed the ambience of the hotel, beautiful lobby, it was really cold and icy while we were there but you can walk in underground city for quite a distance even to the start of old Montreal which was really good due to bad weather. Staff was excellent, friendly and very helpful, we would stay again.

Worse experience ever .i have spend lots of money for two nights and it feel like like I am in motel not in five star ..they have given us worse room n very small when we reach then after complain they said they can arrange another one and it took 2 hrs n more waiting our all planned got wasted we don’t go anywhere because we need to change get fresh then we have planing for Christmas Eve after many calls they finally gave another room and even the service in the room was worse too no water no robes the day we were leaving morning we called room service to give us robes as we need to use pool in the hotel and they took 1 hour to gave us robes after many calls they said they drop in the closet we were in the room no one came and after many calls they came and told bymstaje they drop in wrong room ,,,we were regretted stay this Time at fairmont in Montreal as even in the beginning we told them we will do self just let us know fairmont parking when we came they said you cannot park here we need to park across the street then park n come from tunnel which is very complicated and no one is there to guide we were keep asking strangers on road for fairmont parking then at the end we came back to hotel n told to give us vallet parking that what we paid 80$ for two nights and also we paid 5$ to other parking for just entering and it at the same time…very worse experience never ever recommend this place to anybody it’s better to go somewhere else
