Hotel gets 5 stars from me. Super convenient and staff is friendly and helpful checking in and out. The hot tub and sauna is an amazing feature. We used the metro and the station is right under the hotel so very easy to get around. Very close to the bus stops. No doubt I would stay here again. Close to Saint Catherine's and dining options. The ducks outside were adorable. We did not get the hotel parking as I found a lot nearby that was less as my car was above the height limit for their garage.

Our stay was absolutely fabulous! Clean, quiet, and prompt service each day. The rooftop pool is a glorious feature with plenty of seating. And gosh...do we need to mention how amazing the location is to downtown! Shops, markets, pubs, restos, and more all within walking distance. The only cautionary tidbit which may affect some is that the property is highly-scented with fragrance pumped throughout. This isn't rare for hotels and it's not advertised as a scent-free property so have antihistamines on hand if you have sensitivities. Enjoy your stay!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to check into our room early. I didn't like that there was a stain on my sheets. The bathroom could have used a heavy cleaning. The grout in the shower was gross and the paint on the ceiling was bubbling from the moisture.

Room was very comfortable with a wonderful view of downtown. Walking distance to the Subway, and Via Rail. Pros: Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, internet access was great, the swimming pool had a great vibe (although very busy the Tuesday we most recently stayed), the bell boys and the front desk staff were kind and helpful. The location is perfect walking distance from so much around you to see and eat! Cons: Difficult to get ahold of someone at the front desk via phone in the room, once you park (they charge around $30 per 24 hours), you don’t have in-out privileges. We would 100% stay here again (this was our second stay) and would suggest the property to friends and family! Thank you, Hotel Bonaventure!

The comfortable beds and the duck pond were lovely features at this hotel. The buffet breakfast was also excellent as well as the hotel restaurant. Would highly recommend this hotel for both convenience and service!

It was pretty ordinary for the price! The bathroom was very tired looking - old caulking, faded tiles, Buying the breakfast option was only available with the insurance option, so breakfast was really $128. The breakfast was okay. Should have included pancakes or waffles for kids. Not all kids eat sugary breakfast cereal. The pool was great and the only reason we booked. After our trip it remains the only reason. The reputation of the hotel is overrated. You have some work to do!
