Stayed with my parents for a long weekend trip. The front desk staff was extremely helpful, especially in planning our trip around the city. The front desk had several maps, including city transportation, and one front desk person walked me through a whole day of getting to the different places I wanted to go with bus numbers and metro stops. She was wonderful!! The jacuzzi was relaxing and the pool refreshing. Had a door issue (that was my fault after locking myself out of my room because I gone through my parents door to leave) and the maintenance person was very helpful and was able to get me in. Highly, highly recommend this hotel. Breakfast was also good with a few chinese options as well. I saw they also gave children cups of fish food to feed the koi in the indoor pond and they loved it!

Loved the koi pond, pool was nice but pool area was a bit warm. Very close to the Place d’Armes metro station and Old Montreal so it is in a convenient location. Great service staff, only down side was the elevators wouldn’t go all the way down and the room smelled funky. Although the windows did open, which saved the stay for us.

Excellent location and this is in the Chinatown neighborhood of Montreal. It’s a food haven with lots of restaurants and great food options around. Subway station is right across the street and it’s a 5 minute walk to the Notre Dame Cathedral. Breakfast in the restaurant is just ok for $33. It has a Chinese restaurant inside but never tried it as the food options outside there are excellent. Ample parking basement space available at $33 per day. Lifts were not working from basement levels to the floors and that was an inconvenience. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness has room for improvement, especially the common area and room carpet was not cleaned properly. It’s an old property and that shows at times through cleanliness. Overall excellent property at a strategic downtown location.

Underwhelming, especially given a nightly room rate that was comparable to better hotels in the same area. Common areas and rooms were outfitted with the same tired, worn carpets and upholstery. Couches and carpets were noticeably stained. Elevator floors were filthy. All else completely lacking in any vibe or character. Rather disappointing to say the least.
