We were able to pre-register which quickened the checking in process after a long travel day. Our room was clean and comfortable but the entire hotel was out of hand soap. This was the first time our family had used their pool in the winter and it was fun, but I think they could have turned up the heat in the hot tub a bit! The concierge was helpful as always, checking our luggage for the day once we had checked out of the hotel. The one complaint I have, and from other reviews I read, others have had the same complaint, La Kube was understaffed and the food wasn’t very good. Le serveur was very kind and attentive, but it did take nearly 30 minutes before he came to our table (we did have a reservation). We let him know what time we had to leave and he did his best to get us out on time. The food did not have a lot of flavour, my pizza crust was basically raw dough, the kids’ Mac n Cheese was bland, etc. I don’t expect a lot from a hotel restaurant but for the price, it should have been better. The atmosphere was good though and everyone was pleasant.
