Staying for one night would be ok . But I was here for 5 days . I first arrived and wanted adjoining rooms . Since I got 2 queen suites they don’t connect . Honestly 2 queens and a queen suite adjoining would have worked but wasn’t offered . All we needed was a fridge and microwave which the 2 queens don’t have . But the queen suite does. So my daughter had to sleep on the pull out double sofa bed. The first room we got . Pulled out the bed and there was stains and the bed was broken . Went downstairs . Guy was nice gave us another room . The couch didn’t pull out at all . Next room the bed was a single which my daughter would have fallen off of it was so small. Finally the 4th room was good . Very frustrating my sister’s family was suppose to be connecting but we were on different floors and I already pre paid for everything. One night cops came to the hotel . I’m from Canada and I don’t know different areas in the states so apparently ours was in the ghetto. Nice to have Walmart right across the street. That was the only good thing . Other than that I wouldn’t stay here again. It’s good for one night but anything more I would pay a bit more to get a better hotel.

Ok to rent

The toilet looked used. Needs a new toilet. I would like the sofa bed set up with sheets when I request it. Told me I have to go to the room first. Left and came back later. The sofa was still not set up. Twice I had to go to the desk to get sheets. Bedding. Too much furniture in the room.TV is high above. Not the greatest place. No bedside lamps.

On my way to Winnipeg from Calgary. Regina is an excellent option if to need to step for the night. Hotel was conveniently located right off the highway, with lots of dining options, groceries, etc. Room was excellent and Hotel is newish, so in good shape.

The whole motel reeked of marijuana. The hallways were quite busy with kids running around until late. It seemed like long term residents were placed on floors with people staying for short stays like me and my husband.

We were on the third floor. At 4:30 AM I began to hear knocking on the door of the room that was two doors away from us. Voices pleading for someone in that room to open the door. By 5:30 AM the knocking was loud and insistant. Voices were also insistant. I had just picked up the phone to call the desk when a voice yelled "This is the police. Open the door. You're going to be alright." Coaxing failed. Loud noise ensued. When my husband went to get coffee somewhat later he saw the door handle had been bashed in, a hole in the door, pencils, socks and other items along with shards of the door in the hallway. This hotel is 1 mile away from IKEA and the Mall of America. It is also 1 mile away from a hotel we paid $264.00 for a one night stay and parking privileges for 5 nights. I thought it would be okay. We won't be staying here again.

I have stayed at this location several times over the years and I have always enjoyed my stay, that is why I keep choosing to stay there all the time. I like the location because it is close to everything and easy to get around. Everyone is friendly and they offer breakfast every morning. I have always had a good stay. The only comment I will make is that this time the hotel had a smell that was not pleasant. The halls sometimes smelled like smoke and that they sprayed an air freshener to cover the smell. My room also did not smell nice. It had a bit of a musty smell or like an air freshener had been sprayed. The air conditioner/heating unit emit a musty foul smell like It was dirty or moldy. Overall I had a good stay and I don’t want to take away anything from the overall amenities. This place is a great place to stay in Minneapolis. I just hope they can address the odor issue. Maybe some people don’t smell it but I do. It wasn’t awful but still unpleasant.

They cheat you!

We paid for a two queen room and were told that they did not have one available. There was no money taken off the bill for providing only a 1 bed room when we reserved a 2 bed room. Absolutely horrible. Other reviews say the same thing about paying for a 2 bed room and then the same story about not having any 2 queen bedrooms available.
