"We booked this hotel as the last minute after our flight was grounded for the evening due to the weather quite literally as we were about to take off. The rates were very reasonable given the last minute booking. I booked two rooms (one for my husband, infant I and one for my mom) and when I arrived, they offered an adjoining room without me even asking which was very much appreciated. Overall, check in was super friendly and seamless despite a large number of us there from said grounded flight. The room itself is a little dated and could use a facelift but it felt clean enough. The sheets were quite rough and it did smell a bit like wet dog- were we staying longer this may have been a real issue but for this night, we were just happy to have a clean and warm place to rest our heads. My only real disappointment was that I thought this hotel was literally a part of the airport. This is likely due to my own lack of research as I frantically was booking something, but we had an infant with no car seat and so we needed something we could get to without vehicular transport if at all possible. The shuttle itself was fine- it came regularly and was easy to find but I did not love having my infant in a shuttle with no car seat. Again, not the fault of the hotel but clarifying for anyone else in a similar situation. Overall, this hotel is wonderful in a pinch, especially if you need to be near the airport. I am not sure I would love staying here long term, though. "

"We stayed at the beginning of our trip as we had an early flight. The room was clean. It was great to have a safe place to leave my car at an affordable price for the duration of my trip away. The shuttle was great. Leaving at 4am the drive was very cheerful and excellent driver with helpful hints and good information about the new airport. Due this experience we decided on the day of our return to book another night as nasty winter weather was looming. The desk staff was much better on our second night with check-in. (The first night we stayed we had to ask for our room key and number, he thought he was finished.) The breakfast in the morning had a good variety. The only thing we had trouble with were the charging ports for our phones. The outlets were very loose and my phone didn't get charged in the 12 hours we were in the room. We noticed there was some renovations happening so we hope they will do something about the charging stations in the rooms. And it would be nice to have at least one for each bed on the nightstand near the beds."

"Our recent stay at the Omni William Penn was largely fantastic—the kind of classic, high-end experience you expect from a historic Pittsburgh landmark. If you’re heading to an event at PPG Paints Arena, the location is unbeatable; it’s a quick, easy walk that saves you the headache of event-day traffic. The room was spotlessly clean with some of the most comfortable bedding we’ve encountered in a while. The bathroom was modern, with excellent water pressure, and a shower that actually feels like a luxury experience. We also grabbed a meal at The Tap Room on-site. The food was delicious and the convenience of staying in-house for a quality meal can’t be overstated. The only hiccup—which isn't a fault of the hotel’s service, but definitely a logistics "gotcha"—is the parking height restriction. The self-parking garage recommended on the hotel’s website has a 6'0" clearance. This effectively rules out most full-size trucks and many large SUVs. We spent about 15 minutes scouting nearby alternatives, but even the closest secondary garage topped out at 6'2". If you’re driving a larger vehicle, save yourself the search and head straight to the hotel’s valet. While valet is an additional expense, the staff was professional, quick, and handled everything perfectly. We would have simply brought a smaller car had the height restriction been clearly noted on the site, so hopefully, this helps the next traveler plan ahead! Despite the parking puzzle, we’d absolutely stay here again."
