Stayed at the Strand hotel as it was the perfect location for our afternoon tea at the Savoy. All was good. Very small room that we expected as we’ve used Z hotels before. But they are always comfortable. Still not sure why they have glass partitions around the toilet. Although they are frosted you can clearly see your partner on the toilet 😂. TV is always good so make sure you turn it up loud when your partner is in the bathroom 👍

Very clean space, good size for solo travelling, friendly staff. However the hotel is placed up a small alley. When I came back in the evening the gate to the alley was locked and I couldn’t get through it. This meant I needed to go around to the other side of the alley through a a quiet dark alley and behind the rubbish bins. I felt very unsafe as a female solo traveller.

This was my first time to stay in a Z Hotel. I totally loved it! I was in one of the smallest rooms, but I was solo and it worked out just fine. You could make it work with a couple as long as you planned to be out and about most of the day. It was very clean. It was very quiet. The location could not be beat. Right in the heart of Covent Garden. so close to all of the public transportation. I rarely used the tube and walked everywhere. Great restaurants nearby. Just a little tip, I hung up my main clothes on the hanging wall. I then opened up my suitcase and slid it right underneath the bed. It worked out really well and was not tripping over my suitcase. It took me a day to figure that one out. Also, if you book directly through their site, you get wine and cheese upon arrival. I would 100% stay here again.
