An excellent hotel in an excellent location. Being on a side street just off Piccadilly means that you have immediate access to everywhere you'd want but you have none of the associated traffic noise. We had a room overlooking Half Moon Street and were pleased and pleasantly surprised how quite it is overnight. The bed, bed linen etc are all very good and it's nice to find a London hotel where the AC actually works as intended and is silent ... all of this results in a very good night's sleep. Staff are all exceptionally polite and professional but whoever serviced our room missed the fact that we did not wan the linen or towels changing ... a minor issue but we do try our best to be environmentally friendly during such stays. Would definitely choose this hotel again.

Nice hotel , Excellent location

I really enjoyed my stay at The Mayfair Townhouse. The hotel is clean, the bar is lovely, the food is excellent, and the staff were helpful. The location is perfect — close to the tube, restaurants, and cafes. However, I was surprised by a £450 security deposit on check-in (£50 per night), especially since I had already paid in full and provided my credit card details — which should be enough if anything were needed. At checkout, they also attempted to deduct £200 as a service charge, which I had already paid nightly with taxes. Thankfully, this was resolved, but it caused some unnecessary confusion. Otherwise, a great stay.
