Marylebone is one of central London's most distinguished neighbourhoods, blending Georgian townhouses and leafy garden squares with an easy, village-like pace rarely found this close to the West End. Regent's Park is a short walk away, offering formal gardens, an open-air theatre in summer and views back towards the city skyline. The Wallace Collection houses one of Europe's finest decorative art collections, entirely free to visit, while Marylebone High Street brings together independent boutiques, delis and the beloved Daunt Books. For dining, Fischer's serves excellent Viennese café classics, The Golden Eagle is a proper Victorian pub, and Orrery by Pierre Minotti has recently relaunched with an ambitious new menu.
