Our stay at the Marriott Kauai Beach Club was okay overall, but the arrival experience was very frustrating. Our flight was delayed and we notified the hotel, yet it still took over an hour for the airport shuttle to pick us up around 12:30 a.m. When it arrived, it couldn’t fit our entire group, so we had to wait for additional shuttles—exhausting after a long travel day, especially since the resort is only about 2 miles from the airport. We also requested rooms close together, but our group ended up scattered throughout the resort, which was disappointing. I have stayed here many times but this time the costumer service was not good.

Upon arrival, I had a very unpleasant check-in experience. The manager, Liza Nakano, was rude and unwelcoming. When I requested reasonable accommodations, she responded by saying that my stay was “too long” and proceeded to lecture me about how difficult it was for her to run the business and what she could not do, rather than offering solutions. The check-in process took over an hour, leaving me exhausted. I was finally able to access my room close to midnight. Maintenance throughout the stay was poor. We had to request basic refills, and on one occasion we returned to find our pillows left on the floor. After rainfall, water consistently pooled on the balcony and stayed there as drainage didn't work. Also, drainage along the walkways did not function properly, creating inconvenience and safety concerns. The only positive aspect of our stay was the location. The beach is beautiful and enjoyable. However, we would only consider returning if there were significant improvements in management, maintenance, and overall guest service.

We had an hour at check in due to technical issues Phones had such bad feedback we could not use. We asked them to fix they came up day one and then never followed up or fixed Shower would back up and flood bathroom Bed was very uncomfortable Kids pool slide was broken Great beach access

The property is located in a convenient location and a beautiful cove. However the rooms are still of 30-40 years ago. While we know the rooms were clean. They did not feel clean. There was a bathtub shower with curtain, which was old school too.

The hotel has a beautiful pool with five great jacuzzis. Restaurants were great! Staff was very pleasant. This is our second stay and plan to go back again.

Beautiful!

We had an amazing stay. The room was clean the restaurants were yummy, and it was nice to be able to walk right to the nesch. We even rented paddle boards at a rental sho next door to the hotel. It is a great location! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed it. Can’t wait to go back.

We enjoyed the convenience to the airport, shops, restaurants, town and central location to the points of interest. The property was well kept and we enjoyed the pathway along the beach, as well as, comfortable seating above the pool area. The walking path extending beyond the property toward the shops were questionable, notably people living in their vehicles along the water break and harbor.
