Bit run down and grubby rooms. Had to prebook the pool and there were no slots available so couldn't swim. Breakfast was nice, staff were friendly. Parking expensive, £7 for 24 hours

Quite dated and old now

Overall Hotel is looking very dated and tired. , Cusotmer service and Gym made it bearable. But wouldn’t be returning in a hurry. Rooms had dirt on carpet, beds very hard.

Fantastic location

Enjoyed our stay at Marriott’s in Leicester. They have started charging for parking which is unfortunate because it was free parking before, staff are very friendly and helpful.

The Shower was broken in our room. We told the reception 3 three about it. On the first night, during the day and at the end of the second day. Although they seem to be noting it down but nothing was actioned. We even asked for our room to be changed but nothing was done. We had a poor experience and service. We could have our bath with the shower for the 2 nights we were there. We had 2 young kids and they also didn’t get to use the shower. We paid a lot of money to have a comfortable experience but it was appalling. Staff didn’t come back to us about the situation or changed our room. We should be refunded some compensation for this. We were not happy with the whole experience.
