I have never been in a hotel that requires the guest to request room cleaning. We called for extra towels and received them 2 hours later. There was only one concierge employee checking in and redeeming parking tickets. We had to wait 45 minutes in line to have our ticket validated. I will no longer book at The Downtown Grand Hotel.

An unexpected great discovery! No - it's not a5-star resort BUT it had the most helpful and friendly staff. The hotel is an ideal location if you want to enjoy Freemont Street. We felt safe walking in the area at night but keep in mind you should be alert wherever you walk after 11pm. We will be a repeat! See y'all next time!

I was not prepared for how loud it is in the Fremont District. My room was on the 24th floor and 3-4 streets over from Fremont street and it didn't matter. The music from the different outdoor venues was so loud in the room and I didn't have earplugs. I didn't use the pool but it looked nice. The main restaurant was closed the whole time I was there. They have a small cafe in lobby to get fresh coffee and breakfast food. Would not stay there again more because of area and less to do with hotel.
