!!!DO NOT STAY HERE!!!We travelled from Ireland to this villa last week as a family of 9, looking forward to a great holiday together…. Everything was pre agreed with the host, the money was paid, information was exchanged, the terms and house rules of our stay were agreed by both parties before we departed on our holiday. We landed in Gran Canaria and picked up the 9 seater rental car we ordered and headed onwards to our dream vacation. It quickly turned into a nightmare, as the villa was already occupied by two men who informed us that they have been renting this villa for the last 2 months and aren’t due to leave for another 2 weeks. After several phone calls and messages to the host with no satisfaction, and will all the hotels in Las Palmas booked out that night (it was late around 10pm) we had no other option but to sleep in the car we rented out earlier that night. To say we were disappointed and disgusted with how this worked out is an understatement and we don’t want any other family to go through the torment we went through on this trip.In fairness Vrbo did forward us on a complete refund on the booking and we were lucky to get booked into a nice hotel to enjoy what was left of our holidays.Hopefully this host and any properties connected to him are all removed from all booking sites so this misfortune is not bestowed on anyone else.
