Chillington House
"Stayed here as an entry point to the South West Coastal path so whilst the town itself only has a pub and a post office, it was perfect for a 1 night stay before starting a long walk. There's also a local bus which goes a few times a day. Big room, very clean and comfortable, great breakfast included. ..."

Glebe Farm B&B
"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An absolutely wonderful stay – we can’t wait to return! We had the most wonderful stay at Glebe Farm, staying in The Shippen with our two dogs, and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better place. From the moment we arrived, the hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming and accommodating. ..."

10 At The Beach - Footsteps to the beach, pets welcome, parking
"We loved our stay at 10 At The Beach and didn’t want to leave at the end of our vacation. Lovely views of the sea and lake from the lounge bay window. Good pub , farm shop and cafe very close by. Comfortable beds. Plenty of crockery, cutlery etc. I had a couple of negatives: it was very hot weather ..."

Waterside cottage in a magical setting on the Salcombe Estuary (sleeps 6)
"The cottage is lovely, with a real family-home feel. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils and there are plenty of games to keep family members amused, if the weather isn’t the best. We didn’t make use of the boat or kayaks as the creek didn’t have a lot of water in it when we stayed. ..."

However,I can imagine this would have been a lot of fun on a nice day.We went as a party of five adults and the accommodation worked well for us as we were able to use the two double bedrooms and the bunk bed room. The twin is really most suited to children, or very small adults. There are a lot of steps up to the property and down to the jetty so families with small children or members with mobility issues should be aware of this. It wasn’t a problem for us,however. The communication from the host was excellent and they were very accommodating over the booking in and booking out times, which was much appreciated."
