Bluebird Bungalow over the Holidays

The property is Beautiful and is well equipped for all away from home necessities. The location was perfect for the Highlands shopping & foodie experiences. We traveled to Asheville to see the Biltmore & Bryson City for the Polar Express. Snow tubing at Scaly Mountain was fun. Cashiers & Sapphire were nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing stay at a beautiful property

The Bluebird Bungalow was absolutely charming and served as the perfect accommodations for our trip to Highlands. A beautiful pair of outdoor sitting areas gave us lots of space to enjoy the beauty and quiet of the mountains together. We loved everything about it and will definitely be back soon!

Beautiful Property, Great Communication, Well-Stocked Kitchen

We had a great stay at Blue Bird Bungalow during our Thanksgiving week. It started with excellent and timely communication from the rental management company, ensuring we had all necessary information for check in. The living areas were as comfortable and spacious as described. The bedrooms had plenty of space and the mattresses were comfortable. We were delighted to find that the kitchen was extremely well equipped, and even had a standing mixer which definitely helped in the preparations for Thanksgiving dinner. The house was a short drive from both Highlands and Cashiers. I also appreciated that the driveway wasn’t one of the typical, death defying turnouts for mountainside homes but an easy slope through the neighborhood. While this is probably a trade off for views you may get, the lookout from the screened in patio was still beautiful. Would definitely recommend this home for a family stay.

Loved the screened in porches…2 of them! A rare white squirrel visited our balcony! The beds were comfy and my husband loved the work study on the upstairs master. Very cozy home and clean, well stocked kitchen. The carport was an added plus. Definitely recommend this house.

Lovely Cabin between Highlands and Cashiers

This cabin is in a convenient neighborhood close to Highlands and Cashiers, waterfalls and golf. The screened porches, well stocked kitchen, bedrooms w/bathes and cozy great room with a fireplace was perfect cabin for 3 couples. We look forward to meeting here again soon!!!❤️

Perfect location!

Excellent layout and very comfortable for our family! The location was perfect being 10 minutes to both Highlands and Cashier's. Access was easy with no steep inclines. Covered parking was kept us from getting wet when it rained. Loved the covered porch areas for dining and relaxing outside. The office area was a great added touch. Would definitely stay again!

Beyond expectations!

The home is ideal: fall foliage surrounding the porches was lovely, like being in a treehouse without bugs, kitchen is well-stocked, linens seemed brand-new, fireplace is irresistible, furniture so very comfortable, and lay-out made me want to move in! So hope we can return!

We, three older couples, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. What attracts most is the screened in back porch ,where we spent 90 percent of our time. The cool breezes all day were very refreshing, since we came from florida temps of 103 degrees. The location is great. Equally spaced between Cashiers and Highlands. Plenty of shopping for the ladies. A couple of minor problems, which I'm sure Clif will fix. Lights out in master bedroom, and low water pressure in upstairs bath. Loved every minute of stay at this house and will definetly go back when opportunity arises.

We have rented several homes in Highlands over the years and this is one of our favorites. Very well furnished and a great screened porch to enjoy the cool fall days . Great location close to down town Highlands as well as a short drive to cashiers. Owner called to make sure every thing was to our satisfaction great customer service.

The Perfect Mountain Vacation

We stayed 10 days at this wonderful cabin and did not want to leave! The furniture, linens, beds and decorations are luxurious and comfortable and the description is very accurate. It is extremely relaxing with two screened in porches with sofas, rocking chairs and dining tables surrounded by trees. We spent much of our time there. The cabin is close to Highlands and even though in a development feels very private. The owner was very helpful and made us feel extremely welcome. It was one of the best and most comfortable homes we have stayed in and give it our highest recommendation. We definitely want to return.

Beutifully decorated home with "treehouse" feel

Our stay in this cabin was perfect. The home is beautifully decorated, I would guess professionally, with every detail attended to. The linens (towels and sheets) were luxurious! The homeowner was very responsive and kind. The home was well stocked with everything we needed for a week's stay. The best part of our experience was eating every meal outside on the screened porch. The decks truly made us feel as though we were in a treehouse. The secluded location on a lot full of trees made our stay extra special. Thank you, Clif, for sharing your home with us.
