when I arrived at the Motel was asked for a deposit of 200Yaun, Told them I already paid by Expedia .co.uk. but they said you must pay, so I did when this morning checked out they did give me back my deposit, told me need to take this with the Travel agency.. so what's going on look forward to hear from you MR Lewis Alex Farrugia

Motel 168 is going through some renovations as of January 2019. The updated room I stayed at was of good quality, equal in quality to most motels I have been to in North America. It's location of just a couple of stops from Baiyun Airport makes it a convenient stop for late arrival flight.

Terrible customer service

Reception staffs are very rude, not friendly at all. There are very strong smoke smells in the hotel.

Easily accessable

Quality of rooms can vary. Room during first stay was somewhat shabby, wallpaper peeling off the wall in several places, bathroom tiles broken, shower in a side of the bathroom almost over the toilet with no curtain. During second stay two weeks later, a different room was well maintained, no peeling wallpaper, no broken tiles, a proper shower stall with sliding glass door. During both stays, the room was very clean, the bed comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Front staff spoke no English, but with the use of a translate facility on their cell phone, were able to communicate adequately. A foreign credit card was not accepted and I had not converted sufficient money at the airport. In spite of that, the front desk staff agreed to let me have the room for the night, to change money at a bank the next day and to return in the late evening after prior commitments to settle the bill.

駅に近いけど・・・

別の口コミにあった通りクレジットカード（VISA）は使えなかった。 広州空港への離着陸ルート下なので夜も騒音が酷かった。 周囲に食堂が多いので食事には困らなかった。
