We had a great time. We spent 2 weeks at this house for a remote work stay. Everything was wonderful. The hosts were quick to answer all of our questions. The house and pool area was clean and fully stocked with everything that we needed for our stay. The WIFI and technology all worked perfectly for everything we needed for both work and entertainment. We are already planning to come back next year.

Wonderful beachy fèel. Very clean. Beds super comfortable. Downstairs deck area with private pool is the best. We have stayed in many houses in Jamaica Beach and Sea Isle and this is by far our favorite!

ENJOYED THE STAY BUT...

Was an awesome location, rented a gulf cart and just 2 min from the beach, and Local food was great. UNFORTUNATELY the wifi was off and on, the pool never has sunlight, the house had a strange oder along sewage the first night washing laundery, had to travle for restaurant and activities but uber assesable if needed, no broom was provided IF need, and paid for fishing permits/poles and only caught hermit crabs. BUT over all was a good, relaxing, and great acces to beach vacation. WOULD RECOMMEND THE PROPERTY.

Perfect Relaxation Spot

Wanted somewhere to decompress. This house house it all. Multiple decks, dock, outdoor bar, pool and hot tub. Caught trout right off dock at night using light we brought. About 20-30 minute drive to seawall activities. Beach is 3 minute drive and not crowded.

The house was excellent plenty of room. Everything is listed. Had a wonderful time

Fishing was great off the dock grandson fished every day and caught fish every day granddaughter swim in the pool nonstop with great distance from the beach we had a wonderful time. We’ll come back.

Peaceful Relaxation

My family of 5 (with kids ages 8-13) had an amazing 4 days here. Upon arrival, the house was very clean, the a/c was running beautifully (hot day), the pool was clean, the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and all was set for a great vacation. The property managers were quick to reply to my questions and everything went smoothly. Perfect spot for families with kids or a couple looking for a quiet romantic getaway.

We love Jamaica Beach. This house was great ! The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. The house was clean . The pool and the patio were awesome to hang out at. The kids loved fishing in the canal. I'd go back here again !!

Memorial Day Weekend Getaway

My husband and I decided to take a little Memorial Day weekend trip and booked our stay. The beach house did not disappoint! Clean and comfortable with unbelievable views! We enjoyed the pool and my husband was able to fish and crab right off the dock. Kayaks and paddle boards also made available by the host! We didn’t have to leave the property as it had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We grilled and barbecued while watching the beautiful sunsets on the bay. The property is completely fenced/gated which made us feel safe and secure. Nice quiet neighborhood, with sidewalks to take a morning or evening stroll. Added bonus- ice cream truck came by daily!! Highly recommend this property! Hosts were FANTASTIC and were quick to respond to any questions we had. Can’t say enough good things about our stay!

This house has it all!

From the moment we pulled in we knew we were going to have a relaxing time! The outdoor tv was perfect for March Madness and the heated pool/hottub made for amazing hangout time. We pulled out lots of crabs and had great luck fishing, pulling out some big enough to grill up. The house is cutely decorated and the master bedroom was big and the bed was comfortable. My fave part besides the fishing is the outdoor area. They even have a regular size frig downstairs to store your drinks, snacks and extra ice bags. The downstairs bathroom was convenient as well. Definitely would rent again! Thank you for hosting us!

Overall good experience but room for improvement.

The communication with the host was great along with the pool and hot tub. Location was good as well. The property could use some TLC and improved maintenance though. The two main TVs weren't working and the decks/docks need some attention.

Christmas Vacation

I can not express how wonderful our stay was. My boys love to fish and they caught all kinds of fish right off the dock our entire stay, even a couple of keepers. My daughter loves to swim and even though it was a tad cool for Texas the heated pool was PERFECT and she was able to swim the entire time. Location to the beach and restaurants was great as well. Highly recommend.

We had a great time at this house! Response time was great from the owners, very accommodating and friendly! House is beautiful! Hot tub is a little small but still great! Pool was great with an amazing view! Would definitely stay here again!

Great house, great service and great experience.

The whole process from beginning to end was so easy and the host was super easy to work with. The house was great, we did have some problems with the stove not working but the host made it up to us by ordering and paying for our dinner and having it delivered. They made sure to take care of our needs. I would rent this house again, due to the fact the host was so easy to work with.

Great House

House was wonderful, Katie went above and beyond!!! This was our third family trip to Jamaica beach, staying at a different house each time. We will be booking this house from now on! We had a great time fishing and caught Trout, catfish and lots of crabs. If you’ve never tried crab fishing, take an extra 5lbs of drumsticks, tie one to a string and let it rest on bottom of canal. Gently pull string taunt and you’ll be able to feel when there’s a crab. Slowly pull them up and put a net under them. We had about four strings out at a time. We had hours of fun doing this while others fished. I was a little confused on layout of bedrooms, but master is on level three and the other two bedrooms are between 2nd and 3rd level. Katie was great and very responsive to questions or request.

Would not stay again

We chose this property based on the high rating and the fact it had a private pool and hot tub. I wish I had read the lower rated reviews and that you have to pay a fee for the hot tub to be heated during your stay. I should have been more thorough prior to booking. The good - the hosts are very communicative and friendly. The pool is partly shaded with an awesome breeze. Our kids had a great time lounging in the pool. The bad - The 1/2 bath by the pool was so heavily infested with mosquitoes it was unusable. The hot tub has to be turned on by the hosts remotely so you cannot adjust the temperature or have access to having it on unless you contact the host and their internet is working properly. It was either not hot enough or hot at all when we were told it would be heated our entire stay. The flooring around the pool is uneven. The flooring in the house needs some serious tlc and repair. Everything about the pool area and the house felt tight. There were cigarette butts on the deck and in a candle. Everything felt dirty. There were stains on literally everything. There were pieces of food stuck to pans. There were greasy marks on plates and glasses. We had to wash everything before using it. There were false lashes stuck to a chair, hair all over the bed, stained pillow cases and pillows underneath. The attention to detail that I’m used to when staying somewhere was non existent. The ugly - the deck that you would use to launch kayaks is absolutely unsafe.

Awesome vacation house!!

We have been vacationing in the Galveston area for 40 years and this was hands down the best one yet! Beautiful house on the water with everything we needed! We enjoyed fishing and the pool and the kids really enjoyed the paddle boards. Clean, cozy, perfect house!

Second Stay

This home is amazing! This is our 2nd time staying at this home. It has a wonderful, fairly private pool and beautiful views of the bay. They offer tons of space for relaxation which is exactly what we wanted. The owners are always quick to respond. We had a small towel issue and was no fault of theirs and they were very responsive in getting the towel company out to get us more and on a Sunday! We always have such a peaceful and wonderful stay here and hope to be back soon.
