We had a really enjoyable stay overall and appreciated several thoughtful touches that made the experience feel welcoming. The complimentary bottle of wine, the loaf of moist banana bread, and the stocked fridge with drinks were such a nice surprise. The coffee area was well set up, and there were plenty of extra pillows, blankets, and towels for the hot tub, which made everything very comfortable.However, there were a couple of safety and maintenance issues that should be addressed. Several of the door knobs were loose and not functioning properly. At one point, this resulted in someone being locked inside a room for a period of time, which caused understandable anxiety. Because of this, it also made the rest of us hesitant to fully use and close doors, which impacted privacy during the stay.Additionally, the driveway is made up of brick, and many of the bricks are uneven. Unfortunately, one of our friends lost her balance and fell forward, resulting in scrapes to her knee, elbow, and fingers. This could be a safety concern for future guests.Overall, we had a good experience and appreciated the hospitality, but addressing the door hardware and driveway surface would make this property much safer and even more enjoyable for future visitors.
