We were very disappointed with this stay. Upon arrival, there was an extremely strong fragrance/cologne odor throughout the condo that was overwhelming to the point it caused physical symptoms for our group, including headaches, nausea, and asthma-related breathing concerns.
We contacted the host immediately and were advised to open windows and run a fan, but the windows would not stay open and had no screens despite being on the 4th floor, making that solution unrealistic for safety reasons.
We were also concerned by cleanliness issues, including finding what appeared to be a prescription medication capsule on the bathroom floor, along with hair and a used Q-tip, which made us question whether the condo had been thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival.
Because of the health and sanitation concerns, we were unable to stay and had to secure alternate accommodations. We reported the issue immediately but were unable to reach a resolution.
I recognize others may have a different experience, but I wanted to share ours so future guests, particularly those with fragrance sensitivities or asthma, can make an informed decision.
