Family Beach Vacation

The location and beach is perfection! We found the condo very clean and met our needs. We went offshore fishing with Shaun at Got 2 go fishing and was a highlight for sure! We caught all our fish on wishlist and had a fresh caught dinner! Also recommend Deweys snowcones and fish. Thank you for an amazing trip!

Great Condo but Horrible Management!

Please know that this condo is great! The view is phenomenal and the pool is fantastic. I would rent this unit again, no question- if a different property management group took over But, and it’s a big BUT, VACASA was an absolute nightmare with communication and answers to questions. I have traveled using VRBO for many years and I’ve never experienced this level of inept communication before. For example, I sent a message inquiring if there were beach towels available in the unit. A seemingly simple question—I thought. I received three different communications from three different agents. And, only one even answered the question! I also had a nightmarish experience when I asked if a late check out was a possibility. I got at least 8 different communications from multiple individuals and the answers varied from absolutely not, to we will let you know, and everything in between. The messages are fraught with broken English, spelling and grammar issues. I cannot understand why so many agents gave me so many various answers to relatively standard questions. Also, near the end of my stay I began getting numerous messages about how to check out and what to do-of course the messages were not consistent with detail. Some said do “this” others said don’t worry about “this!” Just a total incompetent management scenario. It’s a real shame too because the place is awesome. I will definitely NOT rent from VACASA again! Beware!

Needs updating

We have stayed in this condo for 11 years. It needs updating. The kitchen sink faucet needs to be repaired. Dishwasher racks were terribly rusted. Living room furniture is worn out. Master bed is uncomfortable. There was an open half eaten candy bar left in the refrigerator. Previous occupants underwear left in washer. Someone else’s bath loofa was left in second bathroom Shower. For the price for the week things needed to be updated and not broken.

Waterfront, waves, wonderful!

This condo is perfectly situated and we were able to get to great activities very easily. The view and beach access was incredible. We'll come this way again.

Loved it!!

This was such a quiet nice place. I loved the heated pool. It was un crowded. I put in my earphones and did water aerobics. The beach was right out of the condominium. It is so beautiful there. The beach chairs were very nice. Everything was clean. I always wipe everything down and mop before I set up anywhere, I did the same here, but I don’t think I really needed to. It was very clean. We loved the comfy recliners. The ONLY thing I would add if I were the owner would be tile in the bedroom instead of carpet. The rest of the condo was tile. . I would definitely stay here again. I hope you found us to be good renters, because we definitely want to come back.

Water’s Edge 208 was clean and well stocked with necessities. We enjoyed the balcony with the gulf front view. We will definitely consider booking again!

Family Vacation

Had a GREAT time and we loved our family vacation. The room pictures were accurate and this is a great place to bring a family. The only negative was the room next to us was smoking all week. The smoke from their balcony was blowing into our balcony. As non smokers, that was really frustrating not getting to enjoy the balcony, that is one of the best parts of staying on the beach. Really frustrating, I wish the entire facility was 100% non smoking.

Disappointing

Not very impressive. Sinks in the bathroom stoppers are broke and stuck in the down position. Had to deal with finding a way to get them unstuck. Same drainage issue in the kitchen. Bugs were found in the beds. Incorrect gate codes provided and no response from Vacasa after nearly an hour on hold.

Fantastic view

Breathtaking view! The home was exactly as advertised. Beds were comfortable and condo was nice and clean. The only 3 things : no blow dryer, the thermostat is locked a 70 but the place stayed very nice with the ceiling fans if needed, and the TV turned on by itself every morning which was kind of strange. But, I would stay there again.

Perfect For Our Party Of 4

We enjoyed our stay in Waters Edge 508 in November. The sturdy and comfortable furniture was exactly what we look for in a family friendly condo. Our first impression was the condo was very clean which put us at ease. The chest of drawers in the bathroom was very thoughtful for those sleeping in the hallway bunk beds. We would definitely stay in this unit again. Thanks for a lovely late fall break!

Very good VRBO experience. Everything was just as shown in the pics and no issues. Communications with Vacasa was clear and easy. On site staff caring for the beach chairs & umbrellas and the pool area were the best! Location was perfect for us - out of the hullabalou but only a few minutes to anywhere in Ft Walton or Destin. Already planning to return...

Love Waters Edge

We’ve stayed in Waters Edge numerous times and have yet to have a bad experience. Condos are always nice and it’s great being right on the beach. Perfect location and perfect vacation.

Unit 508

We have been coming to Waters Edge for 15 years. You cannot beat the location, the pool is huge and the beach is beautiful. This unit was the smallest we have ever stayed in. It was two adults and two teenage boys. Overall it was fine but the unit could use a little help. In the bedroom, get rid of that huge TV cabinet. Hang the flat screen in the wall and maybe put a small set of drawers or table there. It will make the room look a lot bigger. The other dresser is missing a knob and one of the drawers on the bottom is broken. Both bathroom could be updated. The rug in the bedroom needs a good deep clean or replace. The kitchen could use a few new pans to cook with. Appliances were all good. Overall the place needs a good deep clean, the tile, the drapes, blinds and very dusty. We had an issue with the air conditioning while we were there but the property management did a great job and took care of it. These sugguwould really make this a sought after unit of followed. We had a great time.

Great place to stay! On the down side ,on site office is useless They did not even know the outside bathroom code and not friendly. Loud unattended kids in pool at night, never saw any security any where.
