On check in girl was too busy chatting up 2 men checking in , in front of me giving them too much info. When my turn no info at all, instead demanded credit card for any room damages yet never asked them for a credit card. Never told me what time check out was nor what time breakfast finished. Wheni queried why she needed credit card was told incase i used the bar, itold her ive got brain tumours, im terminally ill, i dont drink, once i go to my room i dont come back out, ive brought my own tea bags, my own milk with me. First time ever ive had to do this.
Didnt like fact pillows were feather as i have allergy and brain tumours so had to ring reception late at night to ask for alternative pillows. Duvet on bed is far too thin and lighweight so feels like you are sleeping with just a sheet on bed. Had awful nights sleep because couldnt sleep thinking had no covers on me.
Should make it clearer on website if your using airport express bus which stop you need to get off bus at as hard to know in the dark especially if your on your own and not from Edinburgh, very confusing.
As i travel a lot its not a hotel iwould consider staying at again and usually i tend to be repeat guest over and over when i like hotels but this one has left bad taste for me.
Even breakfast wasnt that great, stone cold hot food, little choice, and the amount of people sat coughing, sneezing n spluttering everywhere, god knows what you might catch the amount of germs flying around.
