Inconsistent service on check in/out. Upsetting.

I had a nice experience checking in and a very bad one checking out. Check in man confirmed all was correctly reserved and pre-paid. Check out girl said I needed to pay again. Despite repeatedly explaining she insisted that I had not. She went on saying that she needed the credit card that was swiped during check-in (wasn't) and got the dates wrong. My wife was shaken and upset. We were delayed leaving and unable to do our next objective. Otherwise fine.
