I want to start by saying the staff were absolutely wonderful. Every employee I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and professional, which made this experience especially disappointing because the issues with the room were impossible to overlook.
Unfortunately, the cleanliness and maintenance of the room were extremely poor. The bathroom door would not close at all because the tile was broken and uneven, causing the door to lean. Around the outside of the shower and on the ceiling there was significant black discoloration, which appeared to be mold (though I can’t say for certain). Regardless of what it was, it was alarming and made the bathroom feel unsanitary and uncomfortable to use.
These are not minor cosmetic issues—they are basic cleanliness and safety concerns that should never be present in a hotel room. Given the condition of the bathroom, it was difficult to feel relaxed or confident about the overall cleanliness of the room.
On a positive note, the breakfast was good and well-prepared, which I appreciated
