Lovely hotel, not so great through zen rooms

Our stay at Diwangkara hotel was really lovely. The staff were so friendly and kind and everything was very pleasant but... we booked this through ZEN rooms and we had a bad experience with them. So overall the hotel was great but zen rooms as a company were not

Basic, cheap hotel suitable for brief o/nite stay

The hotel is relatively clean but rather basic. The lock on our room needed to be repaired and the water in the shower took some time to heat up and even then was only lukewarm, not that this is an issue with the heat of Bali. Staff are friendly, breakfast is basic but it fills the gap. Very convenient (100m) to the port if travelling to Sanur or Gili Islands by ferry.
