This house is right off a main road and has a great dinning room table to gather around. Between the pool, hot hub and games provided this house constantly has something to do other than the beach. Host is quick to reply and happy to provide support during a hurricane.

Was exactly what we were looking for

Summer Breeze was exactly as described and was a great place to spend the week. It was a short walk to the beach and close to shopping, grocery and restaurants. The pool and hot tub were a fantastic bonus to enjoy for the whole family. Plenty of accommodations for entertaining and it was very clean for my family to feel comfortable in.

Nice property. Smooth check-in, it worked out the we could get in early which was not expected, but very nice. We had everything we needed and things were in good working order, but some aspects are starting to show some age. The large dining area was perfect for our family.

Relaxing beach house!

We truly enjoyed staying at Summer Breeze. The house is so spacious and has a lot to do. Property has a lot of shades and great pool. Easy access to the beach. Appreciated beach gears, toys as well.

Beautiful house with privacy

Our experience was wonderful. Enjoyed the privacy since we have an autistic teenager so he could be himself without others judging. Dottie, the caretaker, was very helpful to answer our questions and was nice enough to call and say we could check in a little earlier on our arrival day. I would definitely stay here again.

Very clean, spacious, beautiful house. Easy access to the beach - 5 min walk. Set back from the street. Enough room for a large group of people.

Comfortable and relaxing stay

This is a wonderful property in a good location. Everything you need is provided. It is beautifully decorated. We had such a good time in the pool, at the beach, playing games, and visiting historic sites. Mary is a great host. I would love to return, and I recommend it for an enjoyable vacation.

Beautiful home close to Corolla and Duck

Our families had a great time at this home. Well stocked kitchen and really nice hot tub. Easy walk to the beach. The keys were a bit tricky to use because they seem corroded, but otherwise a great choice if you want to stay on the southern side of Corolla.

Summer Breeze

Our week was perfect and we spent a lot of time in the pool. The house was clean, close to the beach, ample deck space and the kitchen was well equipped. Would definitely recommend!

Family Time

It was perfect for us. Kids enjoyed the pool as much as the beach. It was nice for everyone to have their own bathrooms and there are lots of places to have some alone time. I would definitly book Ocean Breeze again.

Despite the weather

We had a relaxing family time vacation. Hurricane Debby put a bit of a damper on the week but we made the best of it. Accommodations were great! Only Mother Nature was not!

Good family rental

Lots of things on site for family fun. From the pool/hot tub to the bicycles and board games pretty much everything you could want in already on site. Some things are bit dated (the dishwasher struggled) but are still functional, more than a couple lights are burned out and the HVAC and exhaust fan filters need to be changed or cleaned but nothing too significant.

Great family home!

We really enjoyed our week! The house was a perfect, family friendly home. Between the pool and the short walk to the beach, everyone was happy! The kitchen allowed us to make some great family meals at home. The master bedrooms were perfect for the adults. The bottom floor was perfect for all the kids. Loved having the bathroom right off the pool. Thanks for a great week!

Great vacation home away from home

We truly enjoyed our week at this beautiful home. The house is clean, spacious and comfortable, and the owners have it stocked well with any possible need you may have. The pool is large, and the hot tub is relaxing. It's just a short, easy 5 minute walk to the beautiful beach. I enjoyed my peaceful morning walks on the paved walking/biking/running trails along Ocean Trail every morning. This is our favorite house we have stayed in on the OBX. Can't wait to return!

Fun and safety in these pandemic times!

Our 3-generation family spent a week enjoying the proximity to the beach, the wonderful private pool, hot tub and plentiful games of Summer Breeze. We cooked all our meals in the efficient kitchen. Though we did some activities (wild horse tour/dunes at Jockey state park/water sports at the sound/the lighthouse) we loved hanging out together in this spacious home.

Lovely stay!

This was our first stay in Summer Breezes. It was clean and comfortable. The walk to the beach is easy. The house feels very private as it is set back from the road and there are trees between the pool and the golf course. We had everything we needed. It’s close to Harris Teeter and a short drive from some of our favorite shops . The bike path was new since we last stayed in the area. It’s a great addition! Thanks Rich and Janet!

CT OBX family vacation 2024

The house was exactly what you see from the web site. Check in was very easy. We received a phone call informing us that the property was ready. The house is beautifully set back from the street. It is a short walk to the beach. The host has every thing you could imagine for the beach including chairs, towels and beach toys. The house is well stocked with linens, kitchen items etc. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home
