I did have one issue. I was putting ice from ice vending machine into plastic bags I had taken to help keep items in my cooler cold enough, and was rudely accused of filling up my cooler with ice which was not what I had done. I had only filled up a couple of bags.

Unfortunately not the best. Door lock upside down so could not get into room. Shower light burned out. So we were mived. TV remote doesnt work and front desk did not have new batteries. Alo, do soap to shower. Only shampoo

Room was clean, bed comfortable. Breakfast buffet was decent. Only real complaint is location was not near anything. Nothing was walking distance, everything was 15-20 minutes by car to get to River landing, Kinninck or downtown Iowa city.

Unfortunately the $250 for one night did not match the cleanliness. Room dirty and old beyond belief. Blood on wall and food thrown on corner ceiling. Bathroom old and dirty wall light switches and dust. Bed very uncomfortable. Check in person very nice.

Wouldn’t be my first pick but the room was pretty clean. Basic. I like the coziness of the lobby. We had a jacuzzi in our room that should seriously just be removed, but otherwise it was fine.

Had to switch rooms due to the plumbing Not working in bathroom then we go to get in the pool and there is a snake in the pool told manager so they closed pool but they didn’t even offer any comps we will never come here again

Stayed one night after a Hawkeye game, didn’t mind paying the extra rate for game day but the place was gross. Room felt dirty, stains and holes in bedding. Floor seemed musty. Room had an odor. Glad I only had one short night

Cheap. You get what you pay for.

The safety lock on the inside of the door was gone. Don’t only had one deadbolt, and if anyone had a key they would have been able To get in. Not cool. The lock on the window was broken (first floor) there was little bugs all over the window inside the room. The roommate gross. Stains on all the shades, walls, I’m glad I couldn’t see the carpet…… it’s probably repulsive. Bugs in the bathroom. We didn’t even go look at the pool all the review were bad. It needs a 100% redo to get up to even a 3 Star standard.
