This home is beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The home has many kitchen amenities, including a ninja blender and coffee maker which makers pods or pots of coffee. The bedrooms are comfortable and the bathrooms nice with motion detection nightlights and nice walk in showers. The house has lots of outdoor seating with back deck and gas grill. It also has a fire pit. Our favorite part was the living room with plenty of space for guests the relax and watch tv/movies or read a book. The upstairs also has a sitting area, perfect for praying, reading or talking. This home is close to the small town on concrete, with restaurants, ice cream shop, and market. It was centrally located for day trips to many hiking options. The only downside, is the next door neighbor isn’t good at upkeep of their property. We had no problems with them and they were respectful, just a bit of an eyesore. It wasn’t enough to detract from this amazing home and my 5 star rating.

Cheryl was an excellent host! The most clean and organized Vrbo we have ever stayed at. We appreciated that everything we might need was provided and clearly explained, and loved the guide book to local hikes and attractions. Well done!

We loved our time here as a homebase for hiking in North Cascades national Park. All of the amenities were so thoughtful from the cookies, the cozy bedding, instructions for all items like lights and appliances, you can tell this property was managed by an extremely thoughtful owner. Highly recommend this property.

Very nice stay. Clean and comfortable, with the kind of special touches I just don't see anymore ... lots of coffee, spices, nice cookware, a bottle of wine, homemade cookies, microwave popcorn, ample soap, shampoo and body lotion ... even extra toothbrushes if you need one!Big bonus that the pantry has food already in it, which nobody does anymore. But I love to cook and it's fun and convenient to have a variety of items already there. Very quiet neighborhood just minutes from the river. Big driveway and front deck with a grill that works quite well.

We loved this property! Perfect location for getting to North Cascades National Park. The house came equipped with all the small touches that made our stay so comfortable. Loved the reclining leather sofa, the upstairs loft area, the decor, - all aspects thoughtfully planned out. The host provided those extra special touches that made our stay so enjoyable.

We had a phenomenal stay! Cheryl really thought of everything to make our stay cozy! She even went above and beyond, providing homemade cookies and fun drinks. We cooked all our meals at the cabin and had everything we needed. The hot tub provided relief after several long hikes. We had fun picking out movies from her movie selection and enjoyed a game of Yahtzee from her game collection. Everything was clean and well- labeled. The stay could not have been better!!

Fantastic home for a relaxing stay!

This home was exactly what our family needed for our visit to the North Cascades. While a bit far from the park, the drive was enjoyable and beautiful to take in. The property itself was well maintained, clean and spacious. Our adult kids loved relaxing in the hot tub after days of hiking. The bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and even left some very nice welcome treats for the family when we arrived. This is an amazing place to stay for your trip to the region. I highly recommend this lovely property!

Welcoming and all the comforts of home

Cheryl was an amazing host. There were homemade snickerdoodles and a fresh cut bouquet of herbs, and sparkling grape juice and wine on the counter when we arrived. The gas logs were my favorite to sit by each morning with a blanket and coffee. I’ve never seen a more stocked pantry and fridge as we’ve seen here. But we didn’t have to use much because the local diners and restaurants were so fantastic after our hikes in North Cascades Park. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all relaxing and comfortable to use. The nice washer and dryer were so convenient to use before continuing our extended trip. The flowers grown by the house and yard add such a nice touch to this cabin.

Cheryl is amazing! The warmest hospitality and she thought of everything. The house is top notch, has everything you can think of, great location, and is made for people connecting and making memories. Best place ever!

Cheryl's home, and Cheryl, were amazing! You want for nothing. She's thought of everything, every small detail, and her home is super clean, comfy and quiet. There was plenty of everything, towels, kitchen items, extra items in the pantry and fridge, cider and wine, and super delicious homemade snickerdoodle cookies (a whole cookie jar full!). YUM! We loved the space, views, videos, music, books, games, and the relaxation time we had after hiking and exploring the parks. Can't wait to visit again! Thank you, Cheryl!
