"Clean Rooms, Comfortable Beds. Those are my priority. This motel delivered. This is a travel-lodge style motel that is well maintained and scrupulously clean. It’s a no-frills property (but you came up here for the lakes and forest, anyway, right) with friendly staff and comfortable beds. It’s a good location. It’s a very good value. We knew were getting in late. We called ahead and got an entry code for our room. They left the light on. We got advice about the area and a coupon for breakfast at a very nice local restaurant. "

"We love our stay at Pleasant Valley Resort. The room was modern, clean and very comfortable. The commons area was quaint and very welcoming. They have a lot of great amenities, even a cold plunge and outdoor sauna, cornhole, fire pits, beautiful outdoor seating and is directly across from a fantastic Diner! We look forward to returning. "Didn't need to use the fire place. This property is all about a million dollar view on a budget! Sunsets were amazing! Private beach on Lake Michigan was clean, no rocky terrain. Swimming was perfect, even at the end of September. Sand was sun heated. You can hear the host family's conversation through the walls, so they probably heard us too. For the price we can overlook that. Toaster, griddle, fridge and coffee, but no real kitchen. Bath is very nice. We plan to be back!"
