Gorgeous home nestled in the idyllic woods, but only 15 mins from Virginia Tech campus! Would definitely stay again. This home is so beautifully designed & decorated in soft coastal hues, how relaxing. We cooked all meals but 1 at home in the beautiful kitchen. Ate most meals at the kitchen table, except Sunday dinner we had at the big round table in the front dining room; this home really has everything. A beautiful deck out back and covered porch out front. Sleeping in 2 of the 4 well appointed upstairs bedrooms was restful & lively to wake up & listen for faint birdsong. Took nature walks. Downstairs we played pool a couple of times, having a bathroom there, TV, washer & dryer, and sliding glass door out to a patio was really great also. Nice to be nestled deep into the woods, but really just a few minutes from town. Had 1 question for the host and received a very prompt response. Hopefully it will be a little warmer the next time of year we visit, as we’d very much like to sit outside on the covered front porch and rock in the rocking chairs and chit chat after dinner, slowing the pace of life down. The only wish we would have for the future would be to have more towels, bath, hand & wash cloth available and better quality towels to match the supreme quality of the home; more toiletries TP & dishwasher tablets, both were out & no problem we bought some. Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your gorgeous home with us! We will be back!!!!
