The listing was a very accurate description of the property as were the photos. The house is very well designed for family or a group of friends with well appointed bedrooms, ensuites and a huge open plan kitchen and lounge area. Being pet friendly was an added bonus. Some basic supplies provided eg oil, salt, pepper, tea and coffee pods. There was a demolition of a property 2 doors down while we were there and I am not sure how the new build will affect the view from the balcony. However, the beach is a short walk away and so is a cafe. Wifi is a little slow for streaming but that was communicated to us in the paperwork. On the whole a wonderful house in a beautiful part of the mid north coast.

This was a beautiful house and the location was perfect. View from balcony was fantastic. Loved the master bedroom, the whole layout of the place is so well done.I did find the house hot though, I don’t really like aircon (unless supper hot day then it’s a blessing) but I felt like I couldn’t get much breeze through the house even with all windows open. Fans were in all rooms which was great but that being said I was disappointed to see bed linen wasn’t all cotton or french linen etc but a mix of synthetic which for me is too hot to sleep with. Dishwasher was full on arrival but these things happen and oven could have been cleaner but then we didn’t really use it. Dishwasher wasn’t the best so I found myself re-washing a few things by hand. I think for the price and look of this property I was expecting a little bit more of a luxurious feel to certain elements within the house. I would still definitely recommend, it’s a big house with a lot of space in a perfect spot.

A beautiful home in an amazing location

We had a wonderful 5 days at blackhead beach in Bella's home, we loved it so much we have already rebooked for next year! Great layout of the house for us which included kids, adults and oldies. Lots of areas to relax and then come back together on the deck or in the living spaces. Short walk down the hill to the beach. We loved the ocean baths and the local bowlo. Can't wait for our next visit!

Best mini break ever

The Cove is a fantastic place to stay - the beds were comfortable, the amenities lovely and the whole house just incredibly easy to live in. We were away for a 60th birthday celebration with two other couples and had a wonderful time. Being so close to everything meant for lots of early morning walks along the sand followed by swims and a two minute walk home for a shower before breakfast on the deck overlooking the water. Afternoon strolls to the bowling club where everyone is super friendly and back home for more time relaxing on the super comfy lounges or deck. I can’t recommend The Cove highly enough (although maybe I should try to keep it a secret). Thanks for a great stay, we will be back!

Fantastic location, beautiful house

From the moment you walk through the door and walk up the stairs into the light-filled room upstairs and see the gorgeous view of the ocean, you know you don’t want to leave. The house is beautifully appointed and has everything you need for a weekend away or a long holiday, all you have to do is buy your food. There’s even a selection of games to play. The entire house is very clean. The beds are incredibly comfortable made up with beautiful linen and each of the bathrooms are huge. The beach is literally a very short walk down the road (about 50 metres) and there’s a convenience store just around the corner (about 60 metres). Black Head is a lovely, quiet little place but not far from Forster (about 23 kms) and has a small shopping centre with a grocery store, butcher, liquor store, etc. There’s a tavern not far from the house and the kitchen closes at 8.00pm. The convenience store sells hamburgers, etc., but closes at 5.00pm and there are no restaurants nearby. If you’re looking for a lovely quiet place to get away from the hustle and bustle and like to go for lovely long walks along the beach, this is the perfect place for you. It was perfect for us.

We are a group of 4 couples all in our 70's and we regularly get together one or twice a year in a four bed and as many baths as possible. We have been in many very good properties, but THE COVE was the very best we have staid at. So much so, that we may go there again

Family reunion at Black Head

We had a fabulous stay at The Cove. The house was amazing. Communication was fabulous with Bella. Thanks for the early check in! We had everything we needed. Just maybe a couple of extra tea towels? A Great Trip

Beautiful stay

House is beautiful, it has everything you need. Main bedroom is devine bed so so comfortable like sleeping on a cloud. View wonderful and watched New Years Eve fireworks from balcony. Beach is fantastic patrolled everyday, just a hop ,skip and a jump and you're in the water, the beach pool is awesome as they have a kiddies area blocked off from the main pool and its emptied and refilled once a month. Loved our stay and hope to go again in the future. Thanks

Beautiful house a stones throw from the beach!

Absolutely LOVED our stay at this beautiful, newly renovated house! It was perfect location, a 2 minute walk from the beach which made it easy for us to pop in and out at any time of the day. A very well stocked and well thought out property. I cannot wait to be back!
