Decided to stay here based on the property photos. I thought it looked ok and was reasonably priced. I should've read the reviews... The property was extremely dirty, smelled like a wet dog, and everything felt damp. The entryway was disgusting and there was dog crap on the sidewalk outside the entrance, this was my first hint that this was going to be bad. Being it was a quick overnight we just sucked it up and slept on top of the covers and bailed out quick in the morning. I'm not fussy and will occasionally surprise my wife with a stay at a motel as long as it's clean, but this hotel took the prize for being the worst place I have ever stayed! When finally going through reviews it appears that most positive reviews are from people coming for events and not staying in the rooms. So good job to the catering staff and do better to the management and cleaning staff, take some pride and clean this place up...

First, DO THE PRE-CHECK IN TEXT. It will save you quite a bit of time when you check-in! The first room we had the A/C was not working. We went to the pool to give it awhile to kick on but it was blowing hot air. We were moved to a room that had one bed that had been unmade, garbage in the trash can, and the remote on the middle of the bed. We went back to the desk and he got us into another room with a working A/C not far from the other two rooms we had tried. The room was very quiet, though the carpet in the hall is NASTY. There is no carpet in the pet-friendly rooms, which honestly made the room feel a TON cleaner. The wi-fi worked well enough that my husband and I both played on our PS5s on the hotel wi-fi that night. Unless you have children, the pool leaves a LOT to be desired. It's VERY VERY VERY cold and small with a water slide that is always in use. The staff were amazing and my husband and I both slept VERY well. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is pretty centrally located as well, making it easy to go shopping. They did not have a great 'pet area' for potty breaks, but we made it work with our boy. We slept right through breakfast so cannot speak on that but it does say a lot that we both slept in that late. The staff who switched us rooms did a fantastic job of getting our bad rooms addressed, apologizing profusely. There were quite a few other people, but it was easy to stay to ourselves. Would not mind staying here again if the opportunity arose.

This is by far the worse hotel I have ever stayed at! The carpet in the room is dirt, the wash clothes stunk, the pillows aren’t even full size, and the window doesn’t open for any air. I’m not a picky person, but this was way out of my comfort zone in the cleanliness area. I was even concerned about bed bugs.

The first room we were to stay in smelled horrible of old stale smoke, even though rooms are non-smoking. We notified the front desk and were put into a much nicer newer room

Bed and recliner were quite uncomfortable. Not much sound insulation. There was a guy outside my door at 3 am having a phone conversation and I heard the whole thing. Breakfast was decent for the level of hotel it is, so no issues there.

Don't waste your money here

Had to switch rooms. First room - walls and headboard were filthy with actual dirty handprints, tub was dirty, TV didn't work, shower never got hot water, AC was so extremely loud you couldn't hear each other talk. Second room - bed was like a brick and creaked loudly every time we moved, couldn't get AC unit to stay on for more than 15 seconds at a time, and hallways smelled like funk. Check-in/out was easy. Parking was simple. Overall not what we've ever experienced from a Baymont and was really disappointing. Definitely would not stay here again.

The hotel building is in terrible conditions everything is outdated, the hallways carpets are so stained, the A/C units don’t even work, we had a late check in so we would expect the room to be completely cleaned. There was old dirty socks left from the previous guest and 2 cups with water on the table, we mentioned to the front desk and all we got was a sorry.

One day they offered contental breakfast and it was good. Buf they didn't offer it the 2nd day. No clue why??? The hotel was pretty dirty. My room actually has someones dirty tumbler left in it. After that i felt like everything was dirty. I have atayed here numerous times. But this will be my last time i stay here. Will find a cleaner hotel for that price.
