I was there for the marathon, and I knew that I had to check out while I was running. They stored my luggage and gave me a room to take a shower at no extra cost, that was really nice. Also, they had fruits at the exit for the runners. The breakfast was amazing, staff multiple languages and very attentive.

I stayed in this hotel due to it's distance to the Berlin Central Station, which is few minutes walk away. The hotel was super clean, modern and beds were comfortable. The hotel is pet-friendly, but there is additional 19 euro charge for that. Annoyingly, it is not stated on the Expedia website, besides 'pet charge may apply'.

The ambiance was dreary. Carpeting throughout the hotel is grey/black so you do not know if it is clean or not. It did look very dirty. The bathroom shower floor tile is moldy and there is no attention to details as to the cleanliness of the place. Lack of amenities. Room is very basic.
