Even though the room had a no smoking sign, it absolutely wreaked of cigarette smoke. I opened the windows but it didn’t help. My clean clothes and pyjamas stank. When I mentioned it to the front desk the following morning, she said she couldn’t very well ask people not to smoke and that all the vents are connected. This was a stop over on a snowstormy night on my way to Grail springs and had to pay for them to wash my clothes after trying to sleep at this stop over for 8 hours. The only good thing was the breakfast.

Decent cheap motel, and great location for a night of snowmobiling. Right next to OFSC trail. Also pet friendly which is very important to us! Staff were nice and accommodating. Pool and Sauna were nice. Hot tub not working. Rooms were a good size, beds comfortable. Not cleaned well though! Our room smelt like weed when we walked in, and as we looked around we saw little pieces of weed along the window sill and on the tables.... So clearly not being wiped down. Mold on the shower curtain and debris on the floor around the beds where they miss vacuuming. Overall good stay for the price, for a fairly low maintenance family!
