This was a lovely spot just outside the key parts of Athens. It's in an up an coming neighbourhood. Once you find the key pedestrian routes, you will realize you are just a short walk to some really fun restaurants and charming walkable streets. The good routes took us a few tries to find, so don't get discouraged if Google Maps sends you on busy streets that aren't walkable - that's just the way Athens rolls - use your eyes and be curious - look for the pedestrian streets.
The nearest good grocery store is in the direction of Plato's Academy.
The best route towards the Acropolis is along Salaminos which has cool restaurants and bars.
The flat itself is spotless and nearly new. While the interior was small, having two balconies was great for our teen to get a private space when needed.
The kitchen is small, but well-equipped with plates, glasses, coffee maker, pots, sharp knives that actually can be used to cook, etc.
It's on a busy intersection but we couldn't hear any traffic noise.
The communication with the host was excellent and super responsive and checkin was easy.
While the unit has no laundry machine, Laundry Badi was a reasonable walk, but Badi was awesome and did our laundry for 9eur - fluent in French, English and Greek.
