The property was awesome! Loved the pool and location and Jose and Marta were a godsend. Would highly recommend and plan on returning.

Great location

We had a great stay and really think we found a gem that has easy access to nearby amenities, shops, and restaurants. The location was A+ as was the wonderful view looking at the ocean. The property was a good fit for a large family, and the staff took care of us.

Great company to book with and hospitality. House was even better than it looked on the listing. Expect to spend some money at a beach club for stress-free beach experiences. Location prone to wind, but short drive to many activities All in all great stay

Family get together for Nana's 60th birthday

Better than the pictures. We all really liked our stay at the property. Would stay here again. Appreciated Jose & Marta's assistance around the house & grounds. Would cook for ourselves next time. Extra thank you to Scott.

Great house, showing a little wear

Overall very nice stay. Reasonable cost and love that there are 5 bedrooms each with ensuite bath. Notable that one bedroom is in a separate building without oceanview. The house is definitely showing some wear -- we stayed here 10 years ago and returned this month, pretty sure everything was exactly the same with the exception of the caretakers.

We celebrated my husband’s birthday with a bunch of friends and loved that everyone had their own bathroom access in each room. The owner was attentive and checked in as well as catered to our needs. Our housekeepers Jose and Marta kept the place immaculate and were great cooks and hosts when we needed them. It was walking distance to some restaurants and plenty of shops. Quiet and tucked away from everything but we felt very safe. Overall we were very happy and would love to go back again soon!

The oceanfront location was breathtaking, and the views from all rooms were just incredible. It was spacious and comfortable foe for the 10 of us. Jose and Marta were such amazing caretakers and offered great information and places to visit. Scott and David were so attentive and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect vacation. Akumal with its beautiful beaches, cenotes, restaurants and shopping I ng was perfect for our family vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had an amazing trip to Akumal. The home is in a perfect location - 5 minute walk to town, restaurants, and the beach. The beach is beautiful. 5 minutes to the Ya Kul Lagoon, which is an amazing treasure. We would absolutely return! A family of 7 and we had plenty of room, and the ocean view along with the pool made the home a great get away. Jose and Marta were amazing with great suggestions for activities and their dinner and breakfast was very special and perfect for our family.

The only way it would be better was if it was truly possible to swim/snorkel from the coast in front of the house. Staff Jose and Marta prepared an unbelievably delightful meal for dinner one night. A highlight. It is a lot of work for them, and we were so lucky to have the meal.

Marta and Jose were amazing property care takers and just really kind people. They made us dinner one night and it was delicious. There was so much room on the property. We swam in the Cenotes right near the house, ate on the beach, a fishing tour and many other fun things while we were in Mexico. We cannot wait to return for another trip.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had our small wedding ceremony here and it was perfect! Our guests stayed at the house and loved it as well. Downstairs is 1 bedroom, kitchen, living area and tv room and upstairs are 3 bedrooms, 2 which have their own separate entrance. We loved the layout because it allowed for maximum privacy and separated our group by who likes to wake up early and who likes to sleep in. The pool and grounds are gorgeous and well kept and the caretakers are friendly and helpful. I would stay again and highly recommend it

Great house and location

The house was great, better than we expected. It was perfect for the 5 of us. Everyone had their own bathrooms and rooms. Space was great-we could spend time apart from each other if needed! The pool was really nice and I appreciated that it was not on the ocean side because that side was quite breezy (although also beautiful and comfortable). The location was really good as it was walking distance to where the majority of restaurants are and to Akumal Bay. It was also walking distance to the lagoon and other beachside restaurants. A couple of us also walked to town across the highway. Katie came to welcome us and gave us suggestions on where to eat and was able to get us a golf cart in less than 10 minutes. Jose and Marta were incredible and cooked for us a couple times. They were so accommodating and Jose taught us how to make micheladas! I would absolutely stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’m almost afraid to write a spectacular review on Villa Seagate. It was a perfect experience. They let us enter a little before the check-in time so we were grateful for that. Soon as you enter the home you’ll mouth to yourself “woah”. It has such a beautiful scenery with a rocky access to the beach. The housekeepers were thoughtful and brought me a fresh coconut in the mornings while I was working. This place is situated right at the midpoint between all the major sites. So, you can still see the popular areas and return to a quiet, secluded, and safe home. We left the windows and doors open while we stayed inside. The ocean breeze is enough. We’ll definitely be back again or try another of Akumal Direct’s villas. Amazing service and timely communication.

Retraite caraïbe

Si vous aimez le calme, le bruit de mer, regarder les étoiles, faire du snorkling au pied de chez vous dans une barrière de corail avec gorgones, barracudas, raies, et petits requins, ne cherchez plus. La maison est du type familiale rustique avec de grandes chambres et belle piscine. Zone bien sécurisée au calme et très nature à deux pas de quelques restaurants ambiance caraïbes. La plage d'Akumal est joignable par la terrasse. Sinon micro plage au pied de la maison que nous avons nettoyée de ses bouchons plastiques et autres vestiges de mer pratique pour aller nager.
